Variety description

Roses Mohan in landscape design are used both in individual and in group planting. They may well become the central color spot on the flower bed. Rosa Mohan gives quite large flowers. They have two significant advantages - a bright noticeable color and a classical form. Most often on buds there are single buds, so this variety is grown for cutting. Even in a non-flowering state, Mohan's rose looks beautiful and well-groomed. Its bush is straight and branched, it is densely strewn with large matt leaves, while observing all agrotechnical requirements. Rose Mohana easily blooms repeatedly and pleases the eye right up to the first frosts. The height of the bushes of this variety reaches a height of one meter and a width of sixty centimeters.

Flower

The bright yellow flowers of this plant have a large classical cup shape. Undisclosed buds of Mohan's rose reach eight centimeters. The petals of the flowers have a "sunny", bright yellow color with tender veins, painted in dense cherry tones. The bud itself is conical and quite high. It slightly rises in the center of the flower. On average, it contains up to thirty petals, moreover, they are so clearly formed that the shape of the bud can be perfectly called ideal.

Cultivation

To plant Mohan's rose follows in a warm sunny place, where there are practically no cold winds. The plant prefers wet and well drained soil with acid-base reaction in the range from 5.6 to 7.3 pH. Planting pit should be prepared in accordance with the clod of earth, so that the roots of the rose in it would be located freely. Depth needs to be made at least fifty centimeters, since drainage from gravel or sand is necessary. Rose Mohan does not stand the stagnation of water. For this culture, a soil mixture consisting of three parts of manure is suitable, two - a fertile layer of earth and sand and one - peat. The best time to plant this tea-hybrid rose is the beginning of May, when the soil has already warmed up.

Before planting Mohan roses, seedlings need to be kept in water for four to six hours, especially when the root system is open. Damaged shoots on the roots are desirable to remove, cutting off the weak and leaving only the strong or medium.

Rose Mohan is very fond of feeding. The choice of complex fertilizers for this culture is quite large. In addition to fertilizing, care involves regular weeding and watering. Usually fertilizers are introduced in the spring and a second time - in the middle of summer. Watering should be abundant, as a rule, once a week.

In spring Mohan's rose requires pruning, carried out even before the buds awaken on it. It is desirable to cover the bush for the winter. For this, as a rule, it is enough simply to fill it with a dvadtsatisantsimetrovym layer of peat, and in spring the mound clear.
