History of the University

MGUPP, or Moscow University of Food Production, was founded in 1930, but to be more precise, at that time, the Moscow Institute of Technology of Grain and Flour (abbreviated MITZM) was established by the order of the People's Commissariat of Internal and External Trade of the USSR. He was called upon to train specialists in the food industry, in particular - qualified engineers and other working cadres. 1941 was marked by the fact that the university joined one institution with another capital industrial institute. The united institution became known as the Moscow Technological Institute of the Food Industry (for convenience, the abbreviation MTIIP was used). At that time there were only 4 faculties in it:

• Elevator-flour;
• technological;
• economic;
• mechanical.

Then came the Great Patriotic War, which also affected the institute: the food industry suffered great damage. Therefore, in the post-war period, a large stock of government forces was directed to the restoration of the national economy. In particular, the number of specialists trained in MTIIP has increased significantly. The role of both existing and newly emerging professions and lines of activity was actively growing. For example, in 1952, on the basis of the institute, the training of electrical engineers in the field of automation of chemical and technological production began. Since 1959, the program of training engineers for the design of automatic machines for the food and mill-elevator industry has started, since 1962 - the production of professional process engineers in Branch of creation of enzyme preparations. Because of such a rapid development of the Institute on its platform, the All-Union Correspondence Institute of the Food Industry was established.

1992 was a time of new changes: the then MTIIP, the same modern MGUPP, whose reviews will be presented in this article further, received the status of the Academy and was renamed again to the Moscow State Academy of Food Production (in abbreviation - MSAPP). After that, already in 1996, the university acquired the status of a university. Today, MSUPP, which can not be reviewed without describing the current situation within the walls of the university, is one of the largest educational institutions for training specialists in the field of processing, storage and cooking technologies, veterinary medicine and even medicine. Bachelor's program, which is traditionally received by graduates of the 11th grades, is taught at the Moscow State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering for 4-5 years. Prices for training on a commercial basis are average, as in many other universities in Moscow: for the year will have to give, depending on the chosen faculty, from 74 thousand rubles and above. According to the Internet user's audience, the situation with studying at the Moscow State University of International Relations is quite contradictory. Some testimonies testify to the active return of the former positions by the university, the degeneration of the institution, the establishment of an environment with training and the production of truly literate and knowledgeable specialists. This emphasis of student opinions on university renewal is connected with the history of 2015, which has become extremely unpleasant for the university - the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to admit students to MSUPP was banned. The reason for this was that during the check-up, a commission entering the classroom, where according to the schedule it was supposed to take classes, simply did not see there any teachers or students. However, today it is already in the past - after correcting the existing problems, the MSUPP was again allowed to admit young people.

Negative opinions

However, everything positive, one way or another, overcomes negative feedback. About the MGUPP teachers, further prospects of development, the demand for the diploma of this institution and organization of the process, the majority of users spoke out negatively. In their opinion, the best pedagogical cadres were dispersed. There are stories about the negligent attitude of the authorities to their duties: thus, students can expect classes for weeks! Whatever it was, students can count on social support from MSUPP: the hostel provided more than 7,000 students in need of housing, "state employees" are regularly paid a state stipend.
