Frequent "why"
1. Why does not violet flower?
Usually the main reasons are two: too short a light day (less than a half a day), or when transplanting an overly large pot was used, and the plant began to grow roots, trying to fill the surplus living space. This is the "disease" of all flowering plants: they bloom only in cramped conditions. Care for violets in this situation is quite simple: you should increase the illumination and reduce the pot.
2. Why do the leaves appear dark spots growing in time, after which the plant dies?
Most often, the reason is overflow and, as a result, the development of rot. It is especially easy to "pour" violets in the autumn-winter period, because when the temperature is lowered and the light is insufficient, they almost stop growing and blossoming. The soil in the pot must be loose, have sand, vermiculite. Otherwise, when the water stagnates, rotting of the neck of the roots can not be avoided, and the flower dies. It is also impossible to overdry the neck, as a part of the roots dries up and disappears, microorganisms get into the resulting wounds, radical decay develops. In the initial stage, the flower can be saved by re-rooting. Care for violets involves regular watering, but not abundant, watering them should be "soft", standing water at room temperature.
3. Why do the flowers wither completely without opening?
As can be seen from the above, care for violets is quite simple. If you follow several rules, maintain a certain microclimate, pick up good varieties, then plants will delight in a lush and long flowering.
