Return of Genghis Khan to Mongolia

Having made a devastating raid in Khorasan and Afghanistan in 1221 -1222. And having stayed in Central Asia until 1224, Genghis Khan returned to Mongolia in 1225.

In 1226, Genghis Khan marched against the Tangut state of Xi Xia, who earlier refused to fulfill the obligation as a vassal to deploy troops to participate in the war against Khorezmshah.
