Almost every one of us at least once in his life felt a feeling of self-pity for himself and his fate. There are always grounds for this. Every time the hands just drop from a hopeless situation, every time you give up, you want to feel sorry for yourself. However, for all seeming harmlessness, this feeling is one of man's most important enemies.

Self-pity and depression

How to overcome the feeling of pity

Try to first determine as precisely as possible what causes such negative emotions. Often, the desire to regret self conceals anger and pain. They, in turn, flow from resentment and irritation to apparent injustice.
Often we forget that all people are different, everyone perceives the same situation in their own way. That for one will be a great injustice, for another it will be a mere trifle. If you are scared of resentment, then remember that there is a reason for everything, and in the end everything is going well. Try to think about it at your leisure. Meditation and affirmations are very helpful. You can also recall the positive moments of your life, all the successes and achievements. Each of us has everything to achieve our goals, otherwise we would not become what we are now. And we deserve much more than just trying on the role of "victim" and waiting for someone to regret us. Life is amazing and beautiful, and a victory over its weaknesses will be an excellent occasion to feel like a real master of your destiny.
