Registration of a visa to the Czech Republic

Until recently, for residents of Russia visa registration in the Czech Republic was not mandatory for entry into this country. But since the Czech Republic decided to join the European Union, the rules for foreigners, including Russians, have changed significantly.

Documents for the visa to the Czech Republic

Adults must submit the following documents to the visa center or the Consulate General of the Czech Republic:

- a foreign passport with a validity period of at least 90 days from the date of the planned return from the country;

- two photos of good quality 3.5 * 4.5 cm and without seals;

- a completed questionnaire received at the visa center or consulate;

- a copy of all pages of the passport of a citizen of Russia;

- certificate from the work with indication of the position held, the period of work and the size of the average monthly salary - no less than 28 thousand rubles;

- Entrepreneurs must present a copy of the personal income tax certificate in Form 3;

- non-working citizens must present a certificate from the bank about movements in the applicant's account for the last three months;

- medical insurance issued for the entire period of stay abroad.

Registration of a visa to the Czech Republic for minor children requires the submission of additional documents, other than the above. The permission of the parent remaining in the Russian Federation to leave the child abroad is necessary. The document must be certified by a notary. If the child is entered in the parent's passport, then it is necessary to provide his birth certificate in addition . If the child is older than 6 years, then his photo must be in the passport of the parent.

It is worth noting that the issuance of a visa to the Czech Republic does not guarantee the entry into the country. On the Czech border, as well as in many other countries, you may be asked to show a document confirming that you have booked a hotel room. You may also need medical insurance and confirmation that your account has the required amount at the rate of $ 30 for each day of your stay in the Czech Republic. Finally, you must have a paid return ticket or money to purchase it. Of course, all this may not be needed, but it's better to be safe and take care of everything in advance.
