Physalis: useful properties and basic characteristics

Most plants are famous for their useful properties. However, not all of us know which plants and cultures are useful to us, and what kind of benefits they bring to us. Many of them are simply unknown to a wide range of people due to various reasons. One of such little-known plants is physalis. The beneficial properties of its fruits are widely known in South America, because it is this continent that is its homeland. If you believe the legend, for the first time the plant began to grow the Incas (one of the names of the Physalis - the Yagoda of the Incas), and only in the middle of the 19th century South America got acquainted with the Golden Berry (under that name you too can meet the Physalis) due to the fact that the English settlers delivered it there.

Each of us can also plant a physalis, whose useful properties can exceed the properties of domestic vegetables, in his garden or dacha. In this case, you can try its fruits in fresh form, and also dry or conserve.

Since the plant is grown for several decades, people have followed certain health improvements after ingesting physalysis. So, this fruit regulates the amount of bile in the body, and also stimulates the withdrawal of excess fluid from the body. This helps in the prevention of nephrolithiasis and the deposition of salts. However, the physical one, whose useful properties consist not only in prevention, also contributes to the removal of those salt accumulations that have already formed stones.
