Paid education in school. What does it give to the children?

Recently, in the press, the Internet, on TV channels, and simply in the "people" there is an active discussion of the issue that affects many residents of Russia: paid education in the school. What is new about enacting the law "on paid education," as it was dubbed by our citizens?

The bill "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation in Connection with the Improvement of the Legal Status of State (Municipal) Institutions", already adopted by State Duma officials, completely removes the Law on Free Education Guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Let's see what innovations await us from September 2012. How will they affect us and our wallets?

First, all general education institutions will be divided into three groups: budgetary, state and autonomous. Payment for educational services will be levied on parents whose children study in budgetary and autonomous institutions. The director of an institution of this type, the so-called manager, can enter into contracts with solid institutions and prosperous companies and bring profits to the state.

That is, the Law on paid education of 2012 is aimed at transferring schools to self-sufficiency and to generate income. But the level of knowledge is not mentioned anywhere!

Secondly, only three basic lessons will be free of charge, three more will be paid by parents in part, but the payment of the rest will be an exorbitant burden on their shoulders. All the rest of the time will be spent on vocational education! This means that after finishing school and getting a secondary education, the state will receive young professionals who have already learned some specialty.

Of course, this is a good thing, we need workers! But again, it is not specified anywhere, what will be the volume of the graduate's obtained knowledge. Will the children who have received secondary education (paid) from parents' wallets go to universities? And can graduates who have received vocational education at school, decide on the labor market, find their place in adulthood? What then do professional schools, technical schools and universities? After all, the demand for them will fall several times!

What will give society a paid education in school? The tendency of stratification into the rich and poor in our country has been observed for a long time. But, if the rich can painlessly pay for their child's education and give it a decent education, it will obviously not be affordable for the poor. So their place is to go and work. It does not matter, maybe you have a talent and a "mind ward", but the door before the further education before you slowly closes.

Maybe then, at least teachers will be the winners? No, their financial position from the concept of "paid education in school" does not depend! All additional funds received from the implementation of the "self-sustaining school" project will be directed only at the needs of the school itself, but will not affect the salaries of teachers.

In general, our educational system participates in a dangerous experiment, the results of which will definitely affect the development of our children. For many layers of the population of Russia it will become inaccessible and impossible. How can we talk about technical and scientific progress, the development of nanotechnology and robotics, if not the entire nation of the country will simply elementary literate?

Of course, talents will break through, but through what efforts? Many of our scientists were from poor, illiterate families, but even in those days they were supported by the state, they could study for free when there was a paid education for children from rich families. In the school of bourgeois Russia capable and talented people supported, gave them the same knowledge as the offspring of wealthy families.

And our modern school becomes just an enterprise that earns money. If she can not do this, she will simply close, and children will have to look for a new place where they can buy knowledge. Losing time to find a new place, new teachers and students, a long road to a new school ... Will this affect the knowledge of our schoolchildren?

In general, the new bill implied that schools could unite and create a powerful base for teaching children. Our graduates will not be helpless at the end of training, but will be able to go to work, i.e. Without a piece of bread will not remain. Parents can influence the educational school activities, help their children to get a decent education, choose a decent profession. And, it seems that paid education in school is a panacea for all ills.

But there are more questions about him than answers!
