Nutrition rates according to each child age

Do not stuff your child, than horrible, thinking that it will only benefit his body. Today certain nutrition norms are provided that help not only to balance the usual diet, but also to choose a menu, based on the age of the child and his needs. Why is it necessary? Let's try to determine the value of each component in the child's body.

Nutrition rates include compulsory protein intake. As you know, proteins are an integral part of all cells and tissues, and also contribute to the formation of enzymes, hormones, antibodies. This indispensable element prevails in dairy products, meat, fish, eggs, cereals and bread.

If we talk about the role of fats in the human body, it should be recalled that they are involved in the transport of lipids, affect the elasticity of blood vessels, and also regulate the deposition of cholesterol.

A kind of "charger" of the body is carbohydrates, rich in fiber, which provide unhindered movement of food through the intestines, normalizing the digestive processes. They are also involved in metabolic processes and favor the synthesis of proteins and the productive oxidation of fats. However, in a child's body, we should not forget about water and useful minerals.

Harmonious intake of these irreplaceable substances into the body determines the norms of nutrition. We will try to define in more detail the needs of the child, based on his age category.

Infants (0-3 months). Newly born babies do not need a lot of diurnal calories, they can be full of several tablespoons of cereal (milk mixture, if there is no breast milk). It is not necessary to stuff the child against his will, otherwise it can only harm him not yet fully "strengthened" digestion and cause a rapid weight gain.

"Breasts" (up to a year). At this age, children should receive 800 kcal and no more children, that's why special tables with an acceptable daily diet specially created for vigilant mothers, which can easily be found on the Internet.

"Budovistiki" (1 to 3 years). At this age, the calorie intake of food should vary from 1300 to 1500 kcal, as evidenced by the norms of nutrition.

"Pre-school". (36 years). 1800-2000 kcal. Nutrition rates for children of this age determine that breakfast should combine 25% of the daily energy value and consist of cereal, eggs or cheese; Bread with butter, tea or coffee with milk. This meal provides a feeling of satiety for a long time, with a slight assimilation of food and a lack of feeling of heaviness in the stomach. 35% of the daily energy consumption is for lunch, which should be represented by soup and meat (fish) with garnish. It is clear that 40% of the energy needs remain for dinner with vegetable dishes, dairy products and cooking.

Schoolchildren (6-10 years). 2000-2400 kcal. The norms of nutrition of children attending school have their own nuances, which is preceded by the educational process. It is during this period that the usual daily routine is lost, and the energy expenditure in the first half of the day is significantly increased. Such changes entail a shortage of animal proteins, fatty acids, trace elements against the background of excessive intake of animal fats, and there is a weakening of immunity and poor performance. It is necessary to include more fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products in the daily ration.

Children (10 - 13 years). Nutrition norms at this age are 2900 kcal. However, to forecast the daily menu is very difficult due to different taste preferences of each child.

Norms of nutrition for children should be observed daily, and the body needs to get the required amount of calories from vegetable, meat, cereal and fish dishes, and not exclusively for sweets and pastries. It is necessary to take into account these rules when compiling a daily menu.
