Notation for a beginner guitarist

Anyone who wants to learn how to master a guitar skill must know a lot of different things, from tuning the instrument itself to extracting the sound from it, including scales, chords and dynamic shades of sound. It is not easy to understand all this at once, but if we talk about basic knowledge for a beginner, without which we simply can not do it, it is, of course, a musical notation.

Anyone who went to school and did not sleep in music lessons knows the basics of music. Therefore, we recall them only in general terms.

Carrier

Let's start with the nootonos - it's those five lines, on which the notes are located. The music ruler counts from the bottom up. That is, the first is at the bottom, and the fifth is at the top. In addition to the main five, sometimes additional rulers are used, they are short and support only one note. The beginning of the tootope carrier traditionally means the main symbol of the musical notation - a treble clef.

Notes and Tones

The music, as you know, is seven. I will not repeat them, otherwise I will get a musical notation for children. I hope that this article is read by older people. Notes can be placed in different places of the bearer: on the rulers themselves, between them, as well as above or below, with additional lines. The location of the notes depends on their octave. The first octave contains notes within five rulers: from "to" on the additional bottom, to "si" on the third ruler. The second begins with "before" between the third and fourth and ends with "si" over the top additional ruler. Finally, the notes of the small octave are located exclusively on the additional rulers below the notochon.

Between each of a number of standing notes (for example, "before" and "re", "a" and "si") is an interval, which is indicated in full tone. However, between the notes "mi" and "fa" (as between "si" and "to" the next octave), the halftone interval. In other words, the tone is two notes taken through the fret. Halftone - notes between adjacent frets. Knowing this principle will help you find any note on the fretboard.

Size and stroke

The guitar note for guitar includes not only the game, but also silence, denoted by pauses. Both notes and pauses have different duration: whole, half, fourth, eighth, sixteenth and thirty-second. To denote the beat of an entire note, you need to stretch it to four tabs.

Different durations of notes during the game are combined in different variations. This is called a musical rhythm. On the tootope, the rhythm is denoted by vertical lines dividing the five rulers into segments of a certain length. Each of them is called tact.

B flat and sharp

To these signs of alteration, raising and lowering a note by a half-tone, is the sign of the bekar, which cancels the two counterparts in alternation on this measure. For example, if we see a note "before", in front of which there is sharp, then we need to take the second string not in the second, but in the third fret. A flat, say, before the note "la", means that the note will sound like a third string, not the second, like the usual "la", but the first fret.

Any musical note will tell you that the sequence of notes when playing the guitar is located in a circle from "to" to "si". Each of them corresponds to its own string. The first and sixth strings (the thinnest and the thickest) are denoted the same - the Latin letter E. The fifth string is A, the second - B, the fourth - D, the third - G. This is the classical structure of the string guitar.

Of course, this is not all the music notation, but only its basics.
