The history of the development of electronic music

Some people think that this is something new and installed on the computer, and therefore only now it is being improved, but they are mistaken. Back in 1920, Russian scientists, who were engaged in electronics, came up with a device that creates different tones and melodies in the absence of physical contact (ie, without the participation of a person's voice). This strange device at that time was called a synthesizer. And he is currently an indispensable assistant in creating electronic music.

50th years

By the mid-fifties (in 1958) the first electronic piano appeared, from which man's acquaintance with new means for playing melodies / songs began.

60th years

After 1960, the so-called period of new sounds begins. At that time, the first analog synthesizers were invented, containing 1965 electronic sounds, which were used by many people around the world.

70th years

Then, in the 70s, the era of appearance of new styles comes - such as disco, soul and funk. At the beginning of this period, a new band called "Kraftwerk" was born, which used only electronic instruments in the performance of its compositions.

Then came the 80s, it was the period of the Reagan revolution. In those years, disco sounds began to appear in club tracks at various discos in New York.

And in this period there are such styles as ambient, garydzh, dip-house, electro and others.

The 90s

Then comes the 90th, this is the era of new technologies. In those years, computers became faster and better, and the development of turntables and synthesizers, of course, contributed to the emergence of many new sounds.

According to statistics, in those years more turntables were purchased than guitars. Then appeared and developed more styles - techno, house, breakbeat and, of course, trans-music, which quickly conquered the world.

2000's to the present day

In the 21st century, electronic music began to change radically. Traditional styles began to unite in almost all compositions. In every modern work you can hear the elements of many genres.

Electronic music today is one of the most popular entertainment. Created a lot of groups, in the repertoire of which it is available, and recording their tracks quite actively buy up. Some rappers and composers also use computer programs to create their own works. However, hearing all live is much more interesting, so concerts are often arranged.

So, this summer only in Moscow will be held 6 festivals of electronic music - on 18 and 26 July, as well as on 1, 16, 22 and 30 August. In autumn, in September - the 4th, the 13th and the 27th - another 3 are expected. It is also known that on October 18, 2014 there will be another concert.
