Muscular-tonic syndrome. Causes and methods of treatment

Often in the process of life, people begin to suffer from pain in the back, in the hands or feet. The cause of such pain can be reflex spasm of muscles, which in medicine is called muscle-tonic syndrome.

In our turbulent age almost everyone suffers from this disease and, in most cases, it can be associated with a sedentary lifestyle, malnutrition and an objective environment.

Such reflexes arise because of a long and sufficiently persistent muscle strain. At the time of such stresses in the muscles begin to form seals, called trigger points. These seals are quite painful. The muscle begins to gradually become shorter and it is peculiar to thicken. If you press your finger on such a trigger point, then you can cause a muscular-tonic syndrome, which manifests itself as painful sensations. Usually, such pains begin to spread to large areas of the body and limbs.

The following factors can cause such pains:

- Family or acquired in the process of life, trauma, as well as certain types of diseases. In some cases, such a syndrome can develop and at the time of sudden lifting of weights.

- Strong and prolonged muscle tension. This is usually true in cases where a person is in a single position for a long time. At such times, the muscle cells, in some way, get used to a stationary and monotonous position. Therefore, if you do not change your pose periodically and relax the tension groups of muscles, this can lead to the fact that the tension in them will remain for a long time.

- Stresses of an emotional nature. At such moments, the human body begins to mobilize, so it stops the digestion process, and muscle tone, on the contrary, increases. However, depending on the severity of stress, it is not always possible to return to the initial relaxation of the body, so this muscle-tonic syndrome begins to smoothly change into a chronic form.

Muscle-tonic syndrome can have quite unpleasant consequences for the body. For example, if it lasts a long time, the blood circulation in stressed muscles and adjacent organs is disturbed. In addition, the function of the "clamped" muscle begins to be violated, and it can no longer fully perform the "duties" assigned to it. Often in the process of this disease, the mental state of a person suffers.

And what about the treatment? The muscular-tonic syndrome, fortunately, is cured. As a rule, the main methods of treating muscle spasm include:

- elimination of the causes that caused the appearance of spasms.

- direct removal of such stresses by means of massage or with the help of medicines.

- mandatory use of the therapeutic and prophylactic gymnastic complex, as well as physiotherapy.

In addition to this disease, children and adults sometimes have muscular dystonia syndrome . Sad, of course, but at the moment The etiology of this disease has not been thoroughly studied. However, it is known that even the transmission of this disease is inherited.

The main syndrome of this disease is hyperkinesis, as well as various rotational and exciting movements. In this case, the person's head can either be tipped back, or strongly turned to the side. And his entire body begins to take a slightly unnatural position. And the sick person sometimes goes not directly, but sideways, because it is so convenient for him. During sleep, hyperkinesis begins to decline. Despite the difficulties of treating such a disease, in some cases it is possible to completely overcome the disease, after which even the disabled can return to full-fledged work.
