The drug "Rosamet" is an antimicrobial and antiprotozoal agent for external use. The active component of the drug is metronidazole.

At local application the preparation "Rosamet" possesses anti-acne treatment, the mechanism of which has not been studied sufficiently. The drug presumably has an antioxidant property.
