Labor education of children at home and in school

Labor creates a human personality. And it is necessary to teach children from an early age. Because it is in the work you can bring up a sense of responsibility, honesty, teamwork, caring, the ability to reckon with other people and respect their interests. Labor education in the family begins with a one-year-old age, when the child is taught not to throw toys and after the game put them in place, hang on the hook a jacket and put shoes on the shelf. For such children - this is the continuation of the game, but it is important systematic. The child grows, and the tasks become more complicated: in addition to learning to serve himself, he can perform such simple tasks as helping to arrange dishes or spoons, water a flower, feed the fish. By the school age the child already knows quite a lot, so he may have some permanent duties at that time. For example, take out the garbage, wash the dishes, clean in your room, take care of the younger in the family, walk with pets, go to the store for small purchases. Whichever kinds of work at home you entrust to children, it is important to build labor education on the following principles.

- Work should be according to the strength and age of the child.

- Before entrusting an unfamiliar business to your son or daughter, show how to do it right, and several times do it together.

- When evaluating the result of work, be tactful, do not criticize and do not scold, so as not to discourage the willingness to do this work. Show again and be sure to praise.

- Try to find a creative approach, the child should enjoy the pleasure of labor.

- Labor should not act as punishment.

- Organize joint work for children. Accustom to manual work, applied creativity. Make objects made by the toddler's arms or put them at home. They will be pleased to see that this is used.

- Teach children to respect other people's work.

Labor education should be conducted at home along with the school. The school takes an active part in this issue and distinguishes two types of work: educational and socially useful.

Under the training is understood the mental and physical. During mental work the child exerts a large amount of will and patience, learns dedication and perseverance. Good skills of mental work have a positive effect on the physical. The school program includes physical work in classroom workshops, as well as in the school yard.

Public benefit is nothing more than work for the benefit of the school team, self-service at home and at school, home domestic work, skills that are needed in the school while on duty class, caring for plantings in the courtyard of the house or school. Here you can include any supervisor's work: on junior classes, over children's homes, over invalids or veterans of war.

Labor education of schoolchildren is achieved through the organization of various activities. But in order for most of these work programs to work effectively and be of interest to children, it is important to make them original using a modern approach. Of course, it's unlikely that the class will be on duty or the work on the school site will be greatly modified. But interest in these activities can be spurred on if you encourage the guys with a bonus (not material), or by arranging a contest for the title of the best duty month. Like the way Pioneer and Oktyabr detachments were created earlier, it is still possible to create work groups, dividing children into small groups within a class or among parallel classes. Each of them receives his task, his territory and is responsible for them.

This labor education should not be limited - creative work is of no small importance. To encourage children in this direction, it is necessary to arrange regular competitions and exhibitions of children's works. And once in six months to hold creative fairs, where items made by the hands of children can be bought for a small price. Labor education must necessarily be the subject of a dialogue between teachers and parents. And the task of teachers is to form a correct attitude to work with their parents.
