Kinzeluk waterfall. How to get from Krasnoyarsk?

In the mid 40-ies of the last century, two expeditions were made to the Kinzeluk Range of the biologist A.A. Fedorov and geodesist G.A. Fedoseev, who were able to get to the waterfall, using packhorses. Their scientific expeditions lasted three weeks.

But already in 2012 the journey to the Kinzeluk waterfall can be carried out in more comfortable conditions and much faster. So, LLC "Sayanych" provides an opportunity to relax on the basis of "Summer Agul" with a tour of the Kinzeluk waterfall and the surrounding area. Duration of rest - two weeks from June to August. Holidaymakers themselves can choose the way to travel from Krasnoyarsk to the recreation center: either by water transport or by helicopter.

There are other ways to see the Kinzeluk waterfall. For example, you can take a bus from Krasnoyarsk to the village of Stepanovka, which is located in the Irbeysky district. Time on the road is four hours. Then change to a GAZ-66 car and get from the village along Belogoriyu to the recreation center. This segment of the route will take another 5-6 hours. In the camp, located on the banks of the Angul River, after a short rest will be instructed and ready to be sent to the Central Sayan by water transport.

While there is preparation for further travel, you can go to the bathhouse, go fishing. Holidaymakers live in comfortable houses with amenities. The cost of the tour includes dry rations and hot meals throughout the entire itinerary of the excursion. Excursion groups are provided with certain equipment: backpacks, tents, flashlights, gas burners, sleeping bags, as well as marsh boots, fishing rods and tackles.

After rest and preparation together with experienced instructors on water motor transport the first group on the route "Angul-Maly Tagul-Orzagai-Falls" is pushed to the waterfall. The whole way consists of 140 km of water and 7 km of pedestrian traffic. Upon arrival to the waterfall, you can also walk to the glacier Kusurgasheva or to the Bear Lake. Time travel depends on the desire of the group and can be from three to fifteen days. The return trip follows the same route that it took to the waterfall.

Some holidaymakers, if they wish, can by themselves raft on a catamaran to get back to the recreation center.

A trip to the Kinzeluk waterfall is not the whole program for recreation. Advantages and disadvantages of air excursion

You can get to the waterfall much faster and more conveniently than walking on foot or on motor boats. There is an opportunity to fly right away by helicopter to the Spine Lake, where the transshipment tent base is located, from which the ascent to the waterfall and other places begins. Also, through air transport, you can safely transfer all the necessary things to the place of direct ascent. This saves the time and effort that is expended on walking and water trekking.

However, when moving on motor boats, you can get an unforgettable impression of passing the rapids. On the way, tourists often stop for fishing, break camp, with stars fry fish, sing songs and live a few days outdoors in the middle of the pristine nature.
