Albrecht Durer is his house. Albrecht Durer - the greatest artist, jeweler, sculptor and engraver, he was born in the city of Nuremberg and lived in it all his life, 57 years. He could not imagine himself without his beloved Nuremberg, but still he was attracted to traveling. He did not have to be a court painter, and yet he wrote a huge number of portraits of ladies and gentlemen living at court. He wrote engravings and paintings that are dedicated to the Nativity of Christ and the End of the World, the Mystery of Death and the Miracle of Motherhood. Approaching the middle of his life, he joined the movement of Martin Luther, but did not allow himself to speak about the Reformation. And the last years of his life he spent in the house, where now there is a museum, which is dedicated to his life, creativity and talent.

Kaisenburg Castle. In 1050 the castle of Kaizburg was built by Henry III - the famous architectural monument of Nuremberg. It was with him that the whole history of the city began. All meetings of the Seim of the Empire took place in the castle, and in the middle of the fourteenth century, emperors began to be elected there. The treasures of the imperial crown were kept in Kaizburg from 1424 until the end of the 18th century. The castle is surrounded by a five-kilometer wall, which has 80 towers, and the oldest tower of all Fuenfeckturm was built in the 11th century.

The State Theater of Nuremberg is one of the three largest projects of the country's theaters. The German Opera House was built in 1905. But already in 1959 its expansion was carried out: a new building for concerts of chamber music was built. In addition, for the new plays, a building was also built, called the "Blue Box".

The Market Square of Nuremberg is the most famous place in Germany. On its territory, a bazaar is held every Christmas. Its construction began after the tragedy that occurred in 1349 on this site. But over time, the tragedy was forgotten, and today the square is a decoration of the city. It is home to the Church of Our Lady and a unique fountain of its kind. They say if you hold on to the golden ring that hangs on the fence, luck will surely smile.

Fountain Cupid among tourists enjoys no less popularity. Nearby is the Town Hall building. It consists of 2 parts: the first - Gothic, which was built in 1332 - 40's, and the second - the Renaissance, built in 1616 - 22 years. The town hall and fountain represent a unique ensemble of the 17th century.

Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche). Its construction was completed in 1352. It is popular with its 15th century altar, as well as hours with the "Maennleinlaufen". This is the main temple of the city of Nuremberg. Sightseeing on this, however, does not end there.

Married carousel. Fountain "The Married Carousel" is located near the exit from the metro station Lorentzkirche. Professor Jürgen Weber is the author of this creation. The idea to create a fountain came to him after he read the poems of G. Sachs. The fountain shows scenes from the marriage life, so each side of the carousel symbolizes the opposite side of the marriage.

The Church of St. Lorenz is a large church Gothic structure in Germany, it was erected in 1260 on the ruins of an ancient Roman basilica. A large number of interior riches were lost, and a part was sold to pay off city debts. During the World War II, the church treasures were preserved due to the fact that they were placed in the basement of the city. The building itself is completely destroyed. Its restoration to its original form was made in 1952.

The city of Nuremberg, its sights and the local atmosphere itself are so unique that you can talk about them forever. But it's better to see once than to read it ten times!
