The exhibition of achievements of the national economy in Moscow, or simply VDNKh - is one of the main sights of the capital, and perhaps the whole world, because there are no analogues to this exhibition and museum complex. VDNKh receives more than 20 million guests a year, its area, together with the Botanical Garden and the Ostankino Park over 500 hectares, and all pavilions - 134 square meters. The history of the VDNKh

Moscow saw the exhibition complex in 1939, and over the years of its existence he changed the names more than once and came from heyday to decline. Initially, VDNKh is an agricultural exhibition, which during the Great Patriotic War was evacuated to Chelyabinsk. The perestroika and collapse of the Soviet Union had a detrimental effect on many spheres of life. The revival of the complex began in 2013. Trade points were demolished and liquidated, all pavilions were freed and restored, tons of garbage were taken from the territory. Also, the Botanical Garden and Ostankino Park, adjacent to the VDNKh, were included in the complex. The Green Theater, which accommodates 4,500 spectators, was restored. Now this is the main summer venue of Moscow for concerts and various events. And in the summer of 2015 at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements opened its doors "Moskvarium" - the largest aquarium in Europe.

The main pavilions

Originally on the territory of the complex there were about 70 different pavilions dedicated to the republics of the USSR, as well as various areas of Soviet science, industry, medicine, culture, sports. How to get to VDNH
