It turns out that Michael is a descendant of the First Immortal, whose name is Alexander Corvinus. It was this man who gave life to his sons, who were destined to be reborn in two immortal beings - lycan and vampire Deathly Death.

World order and inhabitants

The world of the film resembles a modern one with one exception: there are vampires and werewolves in it. Once upon a time these two races came from the brothers. Then the vampires enslaved the werewolves, forcing them to serve themselves and defend in the daytime. This state of affairs lasted a long time, until the werewolves decided to rebel. In bloody battles, they managed to regain their freedom, but the feud with the vampires did not end there. Confrontation continues to this day.

Biography

As we have already said, our hero is the First Immortal. Despite this, does not possess supernatural abilities, like his children, Alexander Corvinus. The story of the character began in the early 5th century AD. E. At that time he was not yet immortal, he lived like an ordinary person and served as a Hungarian commander. He had great power, but she did not save his village, relatives and friends from an unknown plague. Alexander was the only survivor of the disease. His blood was not the same as that of all people: when infected with a virus, it mutated, which made him immortal.

The birth of twins and the beginning of the war

Many years later, Alexander Corvinus fell in love with a woman named Elena and married her. They had three children: two twins William and Marcus and another son whose name remained unknown. The twins inherited from the father the active form of the virus. So when the bat bit Marcus, and the wolf - William, they turned into an undead: one in a vampire, the second in a lycan.

After the transformation, William could not return to human form and curb the inner beast. He began to attack people, his raids did not cease, and soon all of Hungary was seized by horror. Then Marcus, in order to stop his brother, had to start turning people into vampires. So began the ongoing war and today between the dealers of death and werewolves. Alexander Corvinus could not place his sons. The only thing he had to do was hide their deeds from mortals. Apparently, he considered his sons and creatures created by them to be mistakes of nature, so he hoped that sooner or later they would destroy each other.

How did Alexander Corvinus die?

The legend of the First Immortal has long been passed on from generation to generation, both among vampires and among the lycans. But no one knew for certain about Alexander's fate. Until one day he appeared under the name of Lorenz Makaro. He, along with several loyal people, interferes with the eternal confrontation of his children, using as a base the ship "Santa Helena".

Alexander manages to get the body of Victor, one of the strongest vampires, in which was hidden part of the key from the dungeon of William. After that he meets his descendant Michael and his accompanying Selina, who managed to get the second half of the key. Thus, the first Corvinus has an artifact that can release his second son from imprisonment.

Marcus soon learned about the intervention of his father and attacked his ship. Having met Alexander, the vampire mortally wounded his family sword and took the key from his brother's prison. Corvinus could have defeated his son, but he did not want to kill the descendant.

Dying Alexandra finds Celina. The first immortal asks her to drink his blood. When Selina and Alexander's men leave, he explodes himself with the ship.

Alexander Corvinus throughout the film wears a very noticeable ring-print. It shows the family coat of arms of his family.
