What is combat readiness, the degree of combat readiness: constant, increased, military danger, complete. Russian army: weapons and military equipment

There is a different combat readiness. Its degrees differ significantly in those activities that each soldier, unit of equipment, unit and so on are required to perform for a specific period. There are certain exceptions (the peculiarities of behavior in different situations for some types of troops). Nevertheless, for the most part, readiness concerns the vast majority of employees, significantly affecting their actions, equipment, weapons, and in some cases even emotional and mental states.

What is combat readiness?

There is a very simple definition of what combat readiness is. Degrees, features, preliminary training - it's all very important, but much more important fact. So, this concept implies the ability of a certain unit, army, group of troops to begin to fulfill their immediate functions. There are different standards for response time, which directly depends on the specific type of equipment used, separation characteristics and so on. But all of them are obliged to be carried out strictly on time. Any delay will be punished, and here too there is a difference. The higher the combat readiness, the more serious will be the punishment for misconduct.

Factors

There are a number of signs that directly affect the readiness of units, regardless of whether they are Russian tanks, aviation or infantry units. So, one of such factors is the provision of reserves. It implies absolutely all types of property that can only be needed for combat operations, from dry rations to ammunition, fuel, communication systems and so on. In this case, their actual availability is taken into account.

The second factor is the equipment. This includes the number of soldiers in accordance with the staffing table, etc. In simpler terms, it can be expressed as follows: will there be enough employees for a helicopter, airplane, armored personnel carrier or any other equipment to go / fly and be able to fight?

Next comes the factor of technical condition. It is understood that all property, facilities, equipment, weapons and so on should be in good order. Also here is the option of equipment. That is, whether soldiers are armed with modern weapons, or will be forced to attack hand-to-hand.

The fourth factor is the training of commanders. Will employees, leading departments, adequately respond to the situation and fight.

The fifth factor is the moral readiness of the troops to act in battle.

The sixth and last one is how the personnel are prepared. That is, do soldiers know how to shoot at all, whether they can act as part of a group and so on.

Maintaining readiness

It is only natural that we need separate training in order to increase our combat readiness. Degrees here may also be different, but for the most part it is simply taken into account whether any training is conducted in a timely and full manner, or not. So, the soldier is taught to walk in formation, hit the target, do engineering work, react to chemical attack, they are taught the basics of tactics, develop physically and so on. This is only a short list of possible types of training designed to maintain the required level of combat readiness. The same item includes various types of exercises, the training of soldiers, their psychological preparation for the performance of tasks and so on.

Not the least role is played by the system of rewards and punishments. She, working correctly and steadily, strongly motivates an individual employee. Also, we should not forget about the regular maintenance of equipment, the work of exploration, the provision of a part of everything necessary and the like. Of such small or large factors, the general combat training of one specific department as well as the entire group of the country's troops as a whole develops.

External Features

All that was mentioned above concerns only those items that can be performed directly by employees. However, there are other factors that do not directly relate to them, but on which combat training in general depends, and the level of combat readiness in particular. It is very important that the country's transportation system is as efficient as possible. The state must be able to wage war for a long time. All units must be rearmed in a timely manner. The army itself as a structure is obliged to look strictly positive in the eyes of the majority of the population. And, of course, for all this should be allocated a sufficient amount of funds. Some of the factors are partly influenced by the Russian Defense Minister and other equally high-ranking individuals who are directly interested in solving problems. However, ordinary soldiers can not do anything about it. For example, in part can be excellent training in all areas. The employees will be just gorgeous. But if they are not given modern weapons, do not allocate funds for development, and so on, then there will not be much use from such training.

Constant readiness

As it was said above, there are different combat readiness. The degrees of it differ from each other very significantly. The most simple, ordinary and standard is called - "permanent". It represents the most classic mode of the unit. That is, it is in this state that it is found every day. The military unit is engaged in training, studying, conducting planned maintenance of equipment and so on. A helicopter, an airplane and other combat units carry out training flights, and life goes on as usual. Naturally, even in this state, a part must be able to protect itself and, in case of something, at least somehow begin to fight. Among other things, it is the most economical resource in terms of resources, which can have combat readiness. A constant, stable and thoughtful sequence of actions is not violated in any way, and everything is going on in the planned mode.

Increased

This is the second degree, which already has some differences from constant readiness. So, to collect the entire composition of the unit, if necessary, it is completed to the required level. Also, combat readiness increased means that it is necessary to check all available equipment, weapons and the like equipment. It will be necessary additionally to focus on combat mollification. Checking the combat readiness of this level will also have to reveal that the unit is completely ready to change its current position, all material stocks are in the right amount, and the transport is enough to move the army unit. The transition to this mode of functioning automatically leads to a much more significant expenditure of funds, and therefore it is most often resorted to only within the framework of exercises.

Danger

Under such a notion, a third degree of readiness appears. Its name is somewhat different from the others, but the essence remains the same. High combat readiness officially sounds like a "military danger", and this will be a more correct title. It begins with the fact that a combat alert is being issued. Immediately after that, the unit must perform the following actions: go to the point of concentration of troops, get there food, communication, ammunition, protective equipment and organize guarding. This applies to any arms. For example, Russian tanks will have to advance to the right terrain, where they will receive ammunition, will be refueled and so on. The same is true for the other types of units, whatever they concern. Naturally, all data and information about a specific destination are strictly classified. The cost of funds in this situation will be even more significant than in the two previous cases.

Full combat readiness

This is the last degree. In most cases, a certain district is checked. Nevertheless, the announcement of such readiness throughout the country may be the last step before the immediate onset of hostilities. All units are required to advance to the pre-specified positions, get their own tasks, deploy the available weapons and proceed to combat security. This applies to all employees, beginning with the most recent soldier and finishing with such a high position as the Defense Minister of the Russian Federation. This is the most expensive level of preparedness in terms of funding, and therefore it is used only for exceptional cases. In particular, for the implementation of global audits. Only some units function in this mode on an ongoing basis, but this is already an obligatory security requirement of any country in the world.

Characteristics of combat arms

Taking into account the peculiarities of possible military operations in the modern world, when a strike can follow at any moment and simply do not allow to react in time, some types of troops are in full readiness constantly. They are always fully staffed, are on the right positions and so on. Naturally, combat training and similar actions, typical of other, ordinary parts, are also conducted. However, if necessary, this unit is able to start reacting immediately. Such categories include radio engineering, border, anti-missile and anti-aircraft forces.

Elite divisions

Some parts of the army belong to the more privileged. But not in the sense that they live best of all, but that they are most often asked. Such units are also fully operational. In principle, this is not quite the right term, since, in fact, they are located in the places of their deployment and some elements inherent in this degree are not inherent in them, but if necessary, they, like missile forces, are able to start immediately the battle. These include special-purpose units, the protection of heads of state, strategic troops and so on. The combat readiness of units of this type is so high that it is almost impossible to get a regular employee into the staff of such a detachment. Choose only the best, perfectly shown themselves in all parameters, having a proper vision of the situation, a stable psyche and so on. Many personnel soldiers would like to serve in elite units, but not all of them are given for one reason or another.

Mobilization readiness

This concept also applies to the armed forces, but the main role here is played by the state as a whole. Such readiness means the country's general readiness for war, availability of personnel reserves, funds, weapons, strategic resources, and so on. That is, this is not a direct indicator of how quickly a country can start a war, it reveals how long it will last. For example, in a country the whole army is capable of instantaneous fighting. But the mobilization readiness is extremely low. As a consequence, in the event of the outbreak of war, the army will be able to immediately open fire, but it can not continue to do so for a long time. That is, in such a situation, the bet is made on lightning capture and achievement of the set goals. In the opposite case, if the army is not well prepared, but huge mobilization reserves are accumulated, the country will be able to turn the situation in its favor after a certain time, when the enemy's resources run out.

Combat Duty

This is the most basic type of activities in the part during the full readiness. So, in the usual situation, it consists of guard duty and garrison service, as well as guarding the territory. But in the event of military action, it is also complemented by combat and guard sentries. Sometimes a curfew is added. The combat duty performs such functions as constant monitoring of the situation, protection of military facilities (from external and internal problems), and so on. Additionally, exercises are conducted with all employees on the subject of vigilance and adequacy of decisions in a variety of situations that may theoretically occur. All this is aimed at making it possible to hamper the work of reconnaissance of the enemy with maximum effectiveness and in no case to prevent his sudden attack.

Different countries

The specifics of the preparation for these or other actions can vary quite widely in different countries. This depends, first of all, on the state itself, and only on the second - on its armed forces. For example, if the country has not been fighting for a very long time and in principle is not going to do it, then the degree of readiness can be different. That is, the same situation in North Korea and Switzerland will lead to completely different reactions. It is believed that the better the soldiers are trained, the less time it takes to fully prepare for an immediate war. But in fact, considering that after World War II there were no more global conflicts, it's impossible to say for sure. Most experts agree that if this happens again, then all countries that have nuclear weapons will simply exchange blows and then humanity will cease to exist. For the time that this happens, not one standard part will have time to react more or less adequately to the situation and certainly nothing more.

The result

In general, all of the above was related to service in the days of the USSR and remains relevant today. Some elements or features can be changed. It is quite natural that they are not informed of them in order to combat the intelligence of other countries. In general, all the complexes of measures taken with increasing combat readiness for each new stage become more and more rigid and aimed at immediate reaction of units to the emerging threat. How effective will they be if such a need arises? It remains only to hope that the world will never know about it.
