Overcoming the kilometers: the distance from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok

Kaliningrad

The Kaliningrad Region is an enclave of the Russian Federation. Surrounded by such neighbors as Poland and Lithuania, the glorious city of Kaliningrad is kept apart and largely preserves the Russian way of life, no matter how it is estimated. This is a strategically important settlement for the Russian Federation, because it is a major transport and trade center. There are many railways, highways, as well as the seaport and the main headquarters of the Baltic Navy of Russia.

The Kaliningrad region is the westernmost region of the country. His centuries-old history, of course, influenced the architectural device, which is of Western type. Small houses with a tiled roof, narrow stone streets in the center - all this recalls the rich past of the city.

Vladivostok

Vladivostok is no less unusual city of Primorye Territory of Russia. It is located on the peninsular part of the continent, washed by the Sea of Japan. The city is in constant development, and to follow its history is not so difficult. Here is the largest cable-stayed bridge in the country. The city is rightly called the "gateway to Asia", because it is located near the partner countries of Russia.

Vastly small distances divide Vladivostok with South Korea and Japan. The distance from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok is ten times greater than this value! So, for five and a half days of continuous driving you can get to Vladivostok by the "Amur" road P-297. By the way, this is the fastest route. In this case, the distance on the car is "only" 10328 kilometers.

The road along the "Baikal" road P-255 is the longest by two kilometers, but they can be used with such a long ferry. Overcoming the distance from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok is not so easy. For a car with a fuel consumption of 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers, it will cost about 28 thousand rubles.

Alternative routes

At the moment there are two railway routes from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. They assume transplantation, since for obvious reasons there is no direct flight "Kaliningrad-Vladivostok". The distance on the train is calculated in a week and one day on the way (without waiting for the change). You can get there by train from Kaliningrad South Station to Belorussky in Moscow and from there to Vladivostok. You can overcome the distance from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok by train with two transplants. These routes are Kaliningrad-Moscow, Moscow-Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk-Vladivostok.

Passengers who decided to fly to Kaliningrad by plane will significantly reduce travel time by paying for a flight from 30 thousand rubles.
