Mankind has long paid great attention to water. We are all well aware that without water there is no life on earth. Dry grain can lie in the ground for years, but it only grows when there is moisture, which lives grain. Despite the fact that water is the most needed and the most common substance on earth, its distribution around the globe does not occur evenly. So on the African continent and in Asia the amount of water is very small. There are vast areas of dry desert land. Even the countries live on imported water. So Algeria in order to fully provide itself with water brings it from other countries. Also, water is delivered to some coastal regions of Greece. Often there water costs more than wine. According to the estimates of the United Nations, since 1985, 2.5 billion of the world's population have begun to experience a severe shortage of drinking water.

In order for the balance of water to be normal, we need to consume up to 2.5 liters of water daily. But not all water is useful. Theoretically, it can be assumed that the water from the tap arrives to you, fully consistent with GOSTs. But, unfortunately, everyone knows that, having reached us, the water is again polluted, both physically and informally. This is due to the condition of the pipes and the paths of passage. It should be defended, filtered and cleaned. This is a long process, which takes a day or more. You have to store the containers in which water is settled and purified. It is troublesome, uncomfortable and not entirely hygienic. Fortunately, in the late days of technology there is a way out. This is a variety of water filters.

How does it work.

The poured water in the jug flows by gravity from one container to another, while it passes through the sorbent layer and is filtered.

Pros.

This type of filter does not require connection to the tap, very easy to operate, does not require the presence and control of a person during cleaning. Suitable for office, apartment, villa, room in which there is no central water supply.

Minuses.

The degree of cleaning, slightly lower than that of water purifiers, which are connected to the water supply. The volume of purified water is the same as that of a jug (usually 1 - 2.5 liters). If you need more water, you have to fill the pitcher 2, 3 or more times.

How does it work.

This water purifier is simply put on the tap. Water passes through it.

pros

Low cost. Small dimensions (convenient for cleaning water on trips).

Minuses

Unfortunately, a very small amount of sorbent, because of this low productivity (0,3 - 0,7 l / min) (if you are told that the water can be filtered faster - do not believe it is not possible). You also have to use containers for storing filtered water. You will constantly disconnect and connect the filter to the tap, if it is not equipped with a switch.

How does it work.

The filter is not put on the tap itself, but is placed side by side, the filter is attached to the tap by a flexible hose, the water passes through it is filtered.

Pros.

Good performance of clean water, (1 - 1.5 l / min). There is no need for a separate tank for filtered water.

Minuses.

It takes an extra place in the car wash. Unfortunately, this filter should be permanently connected and disconnected after each filtering.
