Toyota Yaris - a budget car with a new design
For those who are in love with Japanese cars, 2012 was spectacular: the Toyota Yaris in a three-door version was presented to numerous fans. This model was developed for the Australian and Asian markets, preferring small vehicles. The five-door hatchback put up on the podium a day later, according to the company's representatives, is focused on European roads and American highways, although the auto concern does not rule out the possibility of concluding agreements with the island powers.
Despite the fact that the Toyota Yaris is small in size, its engine, which reaches almost a hundred horsepower, will start well. And this despite the fact that the four-speed gearbox looks prehistoric. But the gasoline consumption per 100 km along city streets is only 7.9 liters, and along the road - 6.2.
For the European market Toyota Yaris is produced with a stereo system, which includes radio. Six speakers create an excellent sound, without losing its power even when operating the power windows.
Air conditioning, however, have to buy and install at your own expense, but the steering wheel is already in the skin, there is Bluetooth and a rear-view camera.
Quite another option - Toyota Yaris Verso. It was introduced to Russians in 1999. To the Moscow motor show, this version appealed, as the car of this class turned out to be high, square and did not look like a domestic car, in which it is comfortable to travel only to the Lilliputians.
In the Japanese car, it turned out to be the other way round: a spacious saloon that solves problems with an uncomfortable ride on passenger seats. The trunk is a miracle! If you fold the rear row of seats, then before the eyes of 1930 liters of free space. So the car won the sympathy of not one thousand car enthusiasts.
It is a pity that the new car could not become sporty: its speed (165 kilometers per hour) did not increase even the chip tuning, but by safety it bypassed its counterparts. Designers (in case of an accident) provided for 4 life-saving cushions, ABC and protective head restraints.
