Heder. Care at home for ivy
Hedera (ivy) is a beautiful ornamental plant, the Araliai family, rather unpretentious, quickly and actively growing. In comparison with other indoor flowers it is easy to grow, it does not need constant attention and requires a minimum of care.

Externally, the cheder can be recognized by densely-leathery light- or dark-green leaves of lobate shape, flowers of small size and berries of golden or black colors. The plant has tenacious roots - "hooks". Thanks to them, the hedera clings to various surfaces. The photo shows the attachment of ivy on a brick wall using special roots.

Watered cheder regularly, in the summer - more often and more abundantly. The substrate in the pot must be constantly wet. Water should be soft, steady, room temperature. In the cold season, watering is reduced, but do not allow the substrate in the pot to dry excessively. It responds well to spraying, it is produced regularly, maintaining sufficient moisture.

When growing ivy, the irrigation regime must be followed and the necessary humidity of the air must be maintained. Too high temperature affects the plant badly - its leaves dry, darken and fall off. To avoid this, it is necessary to water abundantly and spray the plant. If the growing conditions of the heder can be attacked by pests: spider mite, scab, aphids, etc. To combat them, use special insecticides, carefully processing each leaf of ivy.
