We carry out external insulation

Most often for this purpose, glass wool, basalt wool, and various types of synthetic insulation are used. Choose them "at random" is not advisable, because each of them has its own characteristics. For example, expanded polystyrene. With the help of any synthetic glue it can easily be fastened to almost any surface, and as a result of the chemical reaction it is so "sticky" to it that it can be safely considered part of the wall. It does not take rot, fungus and mold. Many chemicals (except for gasoline and acetone) do not cause significant harm to this material. And only when exposed to an open flame it quickly begins to smolder, "ennobling" the air with extremely harmful and dangerous smoke, which is undesirable to breathe. But he stands almost a penny. It's only ten years after the start of the operation that the plastic foam is actually completely worn out, and its ability to heat insulation drops almost to zero. This process is accelerated dozens of times, if ultraviolet radiation constantly affects polystyrene foam . In a word, you should not insulate them with capital structures, because at least once in several years you will be forced to change it.

And what about basalt cotton wool? This option is much more advantageous. Especially considering the fact that the modern construction industry produces dozens of its types, dramatically improving their quality, depending on the wide range of additives added to cotton wool. But to fix it on the surface, you will first have to make a quality crate. Basalt cotton wool is relatively inexpensive, does not burn, and can serve for decades, than not all the insulation for the frame house can boast.

Of the waste products of glass production and pure calcium carbonate, all the known glass wool is produced. For its fastening all the same crate of wooden bars is used. It is more expensive than expanded polystyrene, but cheaper than basalt wool. Its thermal insulation is also at an average level, but the longevity is impressive: once you insulate the house with glass wool, you can forget about such problems for at least 50 years.

The vermiculite is also distinguished by a good price and good qualities, which is good for full immunity to open flame. Given that it is released in the form of loose granules, when building a building, this material is often added directly to the concrete. This insulation has excellent thermal insulation, and its service life is quite long.

We make internal insulation

There are no special subtleties here. The difference from external work is only that the material on the inner surface of the walls goes less. At the same time, choosing a heater for the walls of the frame house, pay attention to the next moment: buy only the material that, with a small volume, has good thermal insulation properties. In any case, when laying heat-insulating materials, do not leave the slightest slit through which warm air joyfully jerks outside. Saving on the quality of materials, buying them from dubious producers, is also not recommended - more expensive.
