From what Steve Jobs died. Cause of death of Steve Jobs. Biography, family. Apple Leader

It would be strange to talk about the death of a person without explaining his biography. In the case of Jobs, there is no choice. His vivid life has become a source of inspiration for millions of people.

Childhood and youth

If the story of Steve Jobs does not impress you, then hardly anything else will surprise you. The future founder of Apple was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco. His parents gave the child to a shelter, where he was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs. The baby was named Steve Jobs. Quotations suggest: he always considered foster parents to be relatives.

Since childhood, the environment of his communication was programmers and engineers, who felt particularly comfortable in California. In addition, his mother worked as an accountant in one of the pioneer companies of the future Silicon Valley. Steve's father was an auto mechanic. So he involuntarily introduced his son to the basics of electronics.

At school, Jobs became friends with Stephen Wozniak, his main colleague and partner for many years. Both were fond of new technologies and rock music of the 60's, first of all Bob Dylan. The counterculture of the hippy that appeared at the time had a huge impact on the character and worldview of Jobs.

The first place of work Steve was the company Atari, which was known for its vending machines for video games. In these conditions he and Wozniak founded the "Homemade Computers Club", in which fans of microchips and other tweaks gathered.

Founding Apple

It was then that Wozniak creates his first computer. It was called Apple I. Steve realized that the invention has a huge commercial potential. He persuaded a friend to start a company and start selling their products.

Even then, the different roles of these two people in the future project were outlined. If Wozniak created the product, then Jobs gave it a form that would be most popular with customers. For example, it was with the new technology of the user interface, where everything happens on the desktop that is now familiar with the cursor and folders. Before that, on computers there were only system directories and sad lists from their names. Steve Jobs's company combined, first, a huge creative technical potential, and secondly - an accurate commercial grasp.

1984

The main success of Apple in the first years of its existence was the creation and promotion of the revolutionary new Macintosh computer (also in the oral speech is often used the contraction of the Mac).

He had several important innovations for the industry from the already mentioned user interface to availability for every ordinary buyer. It was then that computers became personal. They were purchased by ordinary buyers, not just programmers and geeks. Another component of success is the advertising campaign that accompanied the beginning of sales.

Everything happened in 1984, and Jobs proposed to shoot a video with references to the novel by George Orwell, whose name was the date. It was a book about a totalitarian society in a fantastic future. Jobs wrote a story on which Apple customers with new technology in their hands were radically different from the backward majority in the novel. "Think differently" is the main slogan of everything that Steve did.

Dismissal

However, in the future the company did not care much. Sales declined, and new products brought losses. Jobs was fired from his own offspring. He did not give up and created other projects - Next and Pixar. The last one has achieved success, and now it is the largest studio regularly producing popular cartoons. The revolution was the use in the animation of Pixar computer graphics. The first such cartoon was the painting "Toy Story" in 1995.

Return

In the late 90's, Apple began to ask that Steve Jobs return. The reason for the "death" of the company is useless production and marketing. All this made many employees remember the founder. In 1997 he again became the head of the enterprise.

In the next decade, several over-the-top devices and services appeared, for which today the masses know about Apple. These are smartphones with an innovative operating system for zero years, iTunes music service and much more. All this one way or another came up with Steve Jobs. Quotations of the entrepreneur indicate that the thought of death forced him to activate 100% throughout each day. This he demanded from his subordinates.

So what did Steve Jobs die from? In many respects from the busy everyday schedule. However, the main reason is not this.

Deterioration of health

Since his youth Steve has been fond of alternative medicine: herbal medicine, acupuncture, vegan diet, etc. Indian culture and yoga practice had a great influence on him. Let us recall his youth of the hippies with drugs and LSD. Therefore, when he had pancreatic cancer in 2003, he refused a traditional operation.

After nine months of self-treatment, he finally agreed to turn to qualified specialists. He underwent surgery and cut out the tumor that appeared. However, the survey showed that Jobs's liver had metastases - new cancer cells that eventually develop and spread to other organs. They could be treated only with the help of chemotherapy courses. The businessman publicly stated that he had got rid of the disease, and in the meantime he began to undergo necessary procedures secretly.

This was all Steve Jobs. The cause of death (later it was the cancer) gradually gradually gave more information about itself. First of all, it influenced its appearance. Jobs was very thin and very shortly before his end admitted that he had cancer. The audience paid close attention to this also because he continued to hold presentations for large audiences, where he presented the new products of the company in a corporate bright style.

Steve was supported by his family - his wife Lauren and three children. For all this he was infinitely grateful to them.

Death

No matter how Steve Jobs left, the cause of this man's death did not lead to his works being wasted. He could be exactly convinced that he lived not in vain, thanks to the fact that he built the largest corporation in the world, whose products appeared almost every American and citizens of many other countries.

In August 2011, Steve announced that he was leaving the leadership position at Apple. He named Tim Cook, his successor, his successor today. Steve himself said that he would remain on the board of directors. However, after a couple of months, on October 5, he died at home.

His attending physician stated that his death was due to a negligent attitude towards his own health. Despite this, the departure from life took place peacefully and calmly. Of course, the outstanding entrepreneur already understood everything and was internally ready for the forthcoming outcome.

In particular, he agreed with writer and journalist Walter Isaacson that he would conduct a lot of interviews with him in order to prepare material for the book biography. Isaacson recorded a large number of monologues, the author of which was himself Steve Jobs. Death was interrupted by this great end-to-end interview, which lasted until the last days of the businessman.

In addition, Walter interviewed about a hundred people who were in close relationship with Steve. The book was due out in November 2011, even during his lifetime, but because of death, her release was postponed a month earlier. In particular, the biography contained an answer to the question of what killed Steve Jobs. Novelty immediately became a bestseller.

As much as Steve Jobs assured, the cause of death was his own alternative treatment, whereas with such a serious diagnosis, it was immediately necessary to turn to professionals. The stubborn nature with which he was different did not allow him to admit his mistake.
