Fresh cabbage salad is simple and tasty!

Cabbage is a miracle-vegetable, with which many myths and legends are associated. The most popular of them is that children are found in cabbage, and that the breast grows from cabbage. However, the studies do not confirm the miraculous property of cabbage in the matter of breast augmentation, unfortunately, this is only a myth.

But do not be upset. Cabbage is actually very healthy, because it contains a lot of fiber, which is simply indispensable for the work of the intestines, vitamins and minerals, as well as antioxidants. In addition, this vegetable is not the last place in the list of drugs that can reduce the risk of cancer.

From all of the above, one thing is clear - cabbage can and should be included in the diet, and as often as possible. This vegetable can be eaten raw, stewed, fried, boiled, salted and baked, so it will not be difficult to cook food for every taste. However, cabbage in raw form, that is, a variety of salads, has the greatest benefit. So, prepare a delicious salad of fresh cabbage.

Simple cabbage salad

To prepare this light and very tasty dish you need to prepare:

  • Young (if possible) cabbage - 0.3 kg;
  • Sweet and sour apple - 1 piece;
  • Medium-sized carrots - 1 piece;
  • Greens (onions, parsley, fennel) - a bunch;
  • Vegetable oil for refilling - 3-4 tablespoons;
  • Lemon juice - enough for 1 tablespoon;
  • Sugar - incomplete spoon (tea);
  • Salt, pepper (it is better to use the mixture) - to taste.

At the first stage, you need to chop the cabbage, and the apple (without the peel) and grate the carrots. Cabbage should be well kneaded with a little salting while - so it will become softer and let the juice. Next, you should chop the greens finely and mix all the components of the salad in a deep bowl. At the last stage, refueling is prepared, for which salt, oil, sugar, pepper and lemon juice are mixed. The resulting dressing should be watered our salad of fresh cabbage. Such a dish can be served at the very beginning of the meal as a light snack, and as a garnish to meat and fish.

Original salad of fresh cabbage with peanuts

  • White cabbage - 0.3 kg;
  • Red cabbage - 0.3 kg;
  • Salted peanuts - 50 g (the easiest way is to take ready nuts from sachets);
  • Sour cream - four large spoons (canteens);
  • Mayonnaise - a tablespoon;
  • Mustard - a teaspoon without a slide;
  • Orange juice (better freshly squeezed) - one spoon (dining room);
  • Lemon juice - a teaspoon;
  • egg;
  • Pepper, salt, seasonings (coriander, cumin) - to taste.

When preparing such a dish, like the original salad of fresh cabbage with peanuts, you need to start with the main vegetable. White cabbage should be chopped, and red-colored before it must also be disassembled into leaves and poured with boiling water to make it softer. Then cabbage should be sprinkled with salt and seasonings and a good stretch. An important nuance is to do this in two bowls, each type separately. After you have to do the preparation of the filling: thoroughly beat the sour cream, add the mustard (if you do not like, you can do without it) and the egg. Shake again and combine with mayonnaise, lemon and orange juice and salt nuts (they must first be ground or finely chopped with a knife), and, of course, salt and pepper.

At the last stage, the shredded cabbage should be mixed with the dressing and put on a dish. You can combine the two kinds together, but then this salad of fresh cabbage will lose its zest. It is better to dream up and put white cabbage and red cabbage layers or just two hemispheres. From the top you can sprinkle with salted nuts or greens.
