Demonstration of the first motion picture

Becoming today for everyone the cinema was invented in the late 19th century, when the first motion picture was shown. The original idea of this invention was to create moving images.

A special popularity for cinema came in the 20th century, when a whole industry of cinema was formed. Now it is a significant part of modern culture, and it all started with an attempt to create a moving image on a material medium and project it onto the screen.

At that time, to solve this problem, technical inventions were needed, in particular, a photosensitive and flexible film, a projector and a device that made it possible to produce a chronographic survey was required. For decades, many famous inventors have fought over this task. Over time, they managed to create a technique capable of filming, after which the demonstration of the first motion picture in history took place. This happened in Paris on 22/03/1895, thanks to the labors of the Lumière brothers.

For a narrow circle of friends, they showed a short tape called "Exit of workers from the Lumiere factory". This was the first motion picture. A bit earlier, in February of this year, the first device was patented by the Lumiere brothers, which makes it possible to obtain a moving image.

They created a combined cinema camera and realized the idea of creating a movie. There was a demonstration of the first motion picture in Paris on the Boulevard of Capuchin, entrance to it was paid. In the basement of the Gran Cafe, the film "Arrival of the train to the La Suite station" was shown. Following this short film began watching other short creations of the Lumiere brothers. The demonstration of the first motion picture was continued by the comic scene "The Watered Waterer", and then several more film projections were also offered to the public.

There is a version that during the viewing of the audience spectators, struck by the movement of the train, jumped from their seats, for fear of being crushed or injured. This first commercial film show marked the beginning of all world cinema.

The first film made in Russia was shown in 1908. In October, a seven-minute picture of "Ponizovaya Volnitsa" was shown. It was a tape, based on a song about Stepan Razin. The first film show in Russia was a little earlier. It was held in the summer garden "Aquarium" in St. Petersburg in 1896 and was a ten-minute selection of films Lumiere. This event was not specially organized. The films were shown during the intermission of a musical performance. The audience was delighted. A couple of days after that, the first movie show was held in Moscow. Interestingly expressed his impressions of the cinema M. Gorky. He described it in the following words: "A shadow of life or a silent shadow of motion."

Private filmmakers in the pre-revolutionary years in Russia have shot a large number of films. Most often the cinema in Russia in those years was an adaptation of love melodramas or literary classics, one of them was even the historical large-scale film "The Defense of Sevastopol." Today he could be called a militant.

The post-revolutionary period was characterized by the adoption of the decree of the Council of People's Commissars on the nationalization of the film division. Cinema of Russia and the entire cinematographic industry have since been transferred to the competence of the Commissariat for Public Education. This event was marked in 1979 by the decision to establish an All-Union holiday in honor of him. Today it is called the Day of Russian Cinema, and in honor of the first public cinema show, another celebration is celebrated, which was named International Cinema Day.

The era of sound cinema began in 1927 with the film company Warner Brothers. The painting "The Jazz Singer" was a huge success, bringing a huge profit. The first domestic sound game film is "A Voyage to Life", which was shown in March 1931.

In 1922 the first color film was released, it was very primitive, and it was not appreciated by the audience. The first "full-fledged" color short film is La Cucaracha, and the first full-length film appeared in 1935 and became the beginning of color cinema.
