Football protocol - the basis of statistics

People involved in football statistics know perfectly well where the scorers of the Fedotov club come from, the best players in the championships and seasons, the extended tournament tables and the so-called "rollers".
No, of course, at the initial stage they are born directly from football matches, but not quite.
The primary source of all statistical data is the official protocol of the game itself, which upon its end is signed by match referees, inspector and team coaches.

What is the protocol of the match?
1. Tournament. The names of the teams and the host of the field.
2. Date of the match, time. City and stadium. The number of spectators in the stands. (Sometimes indicate the condition of the lawn and weather conditions).
3. The referees' brigade from the main referee and two of his assistants. (Recently, the reserve judge, match inspector, delegate from the RFU).
4. The compositions of both teams with the indication of the starting lineup, reserve players, all the changes made in the match and the time of these substitutions.
5. Hammered balls their time. (Especially noted balls, scored from the penalty spot and into their own goal).
6. Unrealized 11-meter blows.
6. The yellow and red cards shown, their time, the reason for the punishment.
7. If a series of penalty shoots was required, eleven-meter blows, the performers and the total are indicated.
8. Signatures of team coaches and match inspectors.

During the processing of statistics, the protocol is converted into a certain report, which you see in the press. For example:

"Lokomotiv" (Moscow) - "Dynamo" (Moscow) 0: 2 (0: 1)

Goals: 0: 1 Kokorin (43), 0: 2 Misimović (88, from the penalty spot).
Warnings: Burlak (84, non-sports), Pavlyuchenko (84, non-sports), Ozdoev (87, rough game) - Wilkshire (41, rough game), Rykov (48, rough game).

Hence, all statistics of players, clubs and general tournaments are already considered.

The most problematic statistics of the USSR championships are in 1949 and 1950. However, in the remaining seasons of half a century ago, there are many white spots.
So, looking through the "rollers" 49-50 (lists - who played, who scored in the championship), especially do not trust them.
We are constantly working diligently to identify errors and inaccuracies.
