Dyskinesia of the large intestine

To date, one of the most common diseases of internal organs, in particular the digestive system, is functional bowel disorder. According to statistics, more than fifty percent of such ailments is associated with diseases of the colon and stomach. It is worth noting that in this situation, speech is most often about violations of the motor function of this body. At the same time, there are absolutely no organic changes. As for the causes of these processes, it is, above all, the dyskinesia of the colon both exogenous and endogenous.

If we talk about the development of the disease, special attention should be paid to the following factors. Constipation, endocrine and metabolic disorders, vegetative dystonia, hereditary complications in general, acute infections that were transferred in infancy, nutritional error and allergy, transfer to artificial nutrition, medication, cracks, hemorrhoids - all contribute to impaired function of the large intestine.

Dyskinesia of the colon is most often observed in people who suffer from other diseases of the digestive system, endocrine disabilities. The development of such an unpleasant illness is influenced by factors such as violations of spinal and central innervation, stressful effects, the intake of certain medicines, psychoemotional disorders, the increase or decrease in the speed with which its contents move along the intestine, and much more.

Dyskinesia of the colon is divided into two main types. This is a hypotonic disease and a hypertonic type of dyskinesia. Most often, the main symptom of this disease are such symptoms as abdominal pain and rhythm disturbance of the defecation process. In a healthy person, this frequency is variable. For example, do not evaluate the two-day stool delay as constipation, if there are no signs such as abdominal pain. If we are talking about the hypertonic type of the disease, the pain in this case will spread in the lower and lateral parts of your abdomen. In addition, they will have a cramping character. These pains are most often associated with the act of defecation. Therefore, such feelings will stop bothering a person after he empties the intestines.

As for the hypertensive type of the disease called "dyskinesia of the large intestine," here it must be said that this type of disease is characterized, first of all, by progressive persistent constipation. For example, after prolonged constipation, the stool often leaves small volumes. In addition, it often has a slightly liquefied consistency. Subsequently, the patient has an expansion of the far parts of the intestinal tract. As a result, the tone of the so-called anal sphincter is also weakened, the incontinence of the contents of the intestine appears, that is, the feces. As for the pain with this type of disease, they, as a rule, are not permanent. With prolonged constipation, a person experiences a feeling of bursting.

This ailment is divided into another group. Depending on the state of the motor function of this area, one can observe the prevalence of incomplete and insufficient emptying of the intestine itself - hypomotor dyskinesia of the large intestine; And the prevalence of too rapid emptying, that is, hypermotor disease.

Adenocarcinoma of the large intestine, or, as they say, intestinal cancer, often becomes a consequence of the neglected disease of this organ. That is why dyskinesia is an occasion to call a specialist, conducting a suitable treatment even if at the given moment you are rarely disturbed by pain and discomfort in the abdomen.

Diagnosis of the disease when examining the patient as a result of the instrumental method of examination. In addition, sigmoidoscopy or, for example, rectomoscopy allows you to easily assess the tone of the intestine and the state of its mucosa. As for the special treatment of dyskinesia, it consists, first of all, in observance of a special diet. Medications that are necessary for a quick recovery can only be prescribed by your doctor. Do not engage in such a situation self-medication.
