During sleep I sweat - the reasons, treatment.

You have two questions. Why do I sweat so much at night? Whether it is necessary to go to the doctor? Moderate sweating in a dream is quite normal if the room is warm, and the blanket is too thick. But if the bedroom is not hot at all, and sweat, literally, pours a river, and it happens regularly, then a visit to the doctor is better not to postpone. A plentiful night sweat often accompanies various diseases: from a common cold to deadly ailments. A strong sweating in a dream occurs with flu, ARVI, and antipyretic drugs. This state is familiar to everyone without exception and is the norm.

Sweating at night can be associated with taking medications against hypertension, any antidepressants, cardiac drugs with nitroglycerin.

Infectious diseases - another reason for a night sweat. This phenomenon is typical for tuberculosis, but it can also occur with osteomyelitis (bone damage), endocarditis (inflammation of the heart valves), hepatitis, AIDS.

Endocrine diseases are often accompanied by sweating in a dream. This happens when there is a violation of the thyroid gland, namely, its increase. Sweats are severe in diabetic patients. In addition, night sweats are associated with insulin intake and a drop in blood sugar levels. Hormonal restructuring in the female body during menopause results in a severe sweating at night.

Almost everyone can say to himself: during sleep I sweat when I experience stress, anxiety and insomnia.

Increased sweating in the sleep is characteristic for cancer diseases affecting the lymphatic system.

Often nocturnal hyperhidrosis occurs in stroke, abscess, heart, neurological, intestinal diseases.

Abundant perspiration at night can be caused not only by illnesses, but also by the use before bedtime of fatty, spicy, salty foods, alcohol, hot drinks. To avoid sweating, do not look at night for intensive physical work and take a hot shower.

What to do in order not to sweat at night? If sweat is associated with diseases, then, unequivocally, - to be examined and treated in a medical institution. If the cause of a night's sweating is then a menopause, then you need to turn to a gynecologist for a course of hormone therapy.

There is such a thing as idiopathic hyperhidrosis, that is, during sweating, I sweat for no apparent reason. In this case, you need to take the following measures: to ventilate the bedroom well, not to do tedious business and not eat immediately before going to bed, take a cool shower, if possible, sleep with open windows.

Traditional medicine, as always, gives a lot of advice to help get rid of this unpleasant phenomenon. If I sweat during sleep, I'll try to use the following simple recipes.

Good help with sweat vinegar. It is mixed with water (for part of the vinegar - two parts of water) and rubbed before sleeping bed problems.

In people from sweating used horsetail field. For this, the decoction of the horsetail was mixed with vodka at a ratio of one to ten and insisted for several days, wiping the sweating areas for the night.

Peppermint is another remedy for hyperhidrosis. Grass pour boiling water, insist an hour, make lotions or baths.

Recipe with bark of oak. Bark (one hundred grams) pour water (one liter), boil for ten minutes, allow to cool and apply to problem areas.

To not sweat and calm nerves, you need to take a bath at night with chamomile and sea salt.

A proven remedy for sweat is a clary sage. Sage pour boiling water and insist an hour and a half (three tablespoons of sage - two glasses of water), filter and make lotions. Sage can be mixed evenly with yarrow, the resulting mixture pour boiling water (two tablespoons of grass - half a liter of water), insist until cooling, then use for baths or compresses.

Instead of a bast to take a two-layer gauze, put in it oat flakes and salt (two tablespoons), take a shower with such a bast every day without soap.
