Dolobien Gel - instructions for use

Dolobene gel is a powerful combination drug for external use only. Its effect is due to the joint effect of the constituent components. Dimethyl sulfoxide has an excellent anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative and analgesic effect. This is possible due to the inactivation of hydroxyl radical complexes (in another, their activity is suppressed). Also, the metabolic processes at the site of inflammation improve, the speed of conduction of nerve impulses decreases. This component causes hygroscopic properties, facilitates the absorption of other constituents of the preparation.

Another component of the gel, heparin, inhibits blood clotting (anticoagulant). Thanks to him, the connective tissue is restored faster, since the enzyme hyaluronidase is inhibited. Prevents the formation of blood clots, their dissolution is activated, local blood flow improves.

Dexpanthenol will help regenerate damaged tissue (this component accelerates the exchange in cells by participating in oxidation processes).

Dolobien gel - how to apply?

The drug is applied to the affected area with a thin layer. It is necessary to distribute the gel on the skin, easily rubbing. Use 3 times a day. Dolobien gel can also be used for dressings. Take an airtight material for the dressing (but make sure that most of the gel penetrates into the skin and the alcohol evaporates - it will take a few minutes).

Dolobene gel is also applied by iontophoresis. The gel must be placed under the cathode (this is a positive pole). Heparin has anionic properties (this is a negative charge).

When phonophoresis (with this method, the drug substance is injected through the skin through an ultrasonic wave), the application is even more effective, since ultrasound itself is already a therapeutic agent.

Before applying the drug in each case, the skin should be freed from contamination, wash away other medicines. Dolobien gel can not be applied to open wounds, badly damaged skin, with dermatoses, eczema, psoriasis, postoperative scars.

The course of treatment can last from several days to several weeks (this depends on the severity of the course, the attendant symptoms and the effectiveness of the action).

  • Itching;
  • Burning in the application area;
