Designing in the middle group in a kindergarten

Designing in the middle group is an activity in which children learn to work with scissors, paper, cardboard, glue, creating various crafts. It is also planned to improve the acquired skills in other lessons, for example, on developing speech, drawing, music, logic and the world around us.

Goals and tasks of classes on designing

The educator should set the task not only to teach children to perform certain actions, but also to implement their personal projects of crafts, performing them from "junk material", in simple terms, from garbage and trash. It is the construction in the middle group that opens up to the young creators a huge field of activity for fantasy, teaches the kids to achieve their goals, to cherish and value their own and others' work.

Every lesson in the kindergarten is like a trip to the fairy-tale world. And the construction in the middle group in this plan is no exception. Therefore, the lesson should begin with a small introduction, a mini-play in which children should also take part, answering the questions of the teacher and actors of the miniature characters. Thus, speech skills and logical thinking of children are involved. The construction in the middle group can involve the skills gained in music lessons, when the kids are asked to sing some song that has been learned before.

Work with scissors, paper and glue

The simplest material for children's creativity is paper. Children almost from year begin to create from it their first masterpieces. With pleasure the middle group creates from this accessible material. Paper construction is a separate section in the planning of manual work.

Children are happy to create crafts as a gift to their relatives. You can invite them to make a fun frog toy by giving out predefined parts templates. The teacher should show the kids how the package-body of the cute frog is glued, how the paws, eyes, spots are attached. You can give before this one lesson in the construction in the middle group of the picture "Quaksha eats a fly".

In the course of work, you can tell the children a short tale about the sad frog Quaksu, who considered himself to be useless to anyone on earth.

"And who knows what benefits frogs bring?" - the teacher should ask. And, showing a ready-made specimen of the craft, thereby leading the children to an answer: these amphibians destroy insects - mosquitoes and flies - which infect people and animals.

Origami on manual labor

Another variant of classes with paper is the folding of various figures from sheets. In addition to the mandatory display of all stages of the manufacture of the product involves the construction in the middle group of the scheme, which the teacher teaches "to read," that is, to understand. Each action in the step-by-step master class has its own serial number, followed one after another. It is appropriate after the show to offer the kids a printout of schemes for doing crafts with a confused order of actions - let the children themselves point out with arrows what to do.

Pencils from the cylinders of rolls of toilet paper

Well, if the planning of construction in the middle group involves working with objects that most people usually throw into the trash can. For example, from the rolls of toilet paper there are cardboard tubes that can easily be turned into merry rabbits, pasting them with colored paper and attaching them noses, ears, eyes and paws. In addition, these things are very nice looking, they are convenient to fold pencils and pens.

Smaller houses

After acquaintance with the work of Nikolai Nosov about the little men from the Flower City, you can plan the design of "House". In the middle group, this occupation can begin with the appearance of a glove doll Dunno. It is appropriate to record the character's words in advance to the recorder, so that the teacher does not have to open his mouth during the child's replicas.

"Guys, hello! - Sad to say shortly. "Did you recognize me?" Yes, I'm Dunno from the Flower City. You probably remember that all the shorties do not live in separate houses, but several people in one room. It's not very comfortable. After all, Gusle needs to study music, and Tsvetik wants to write his poems at that time. Znayka likes to read her clever books in the evenings, and Avoska very much wants to fall asleep early - the lamp's light interferes with it. Shorty all quarreled because of this! "And Dunno wipes his nose with a handkerchief, as if crying.

The teacher here must ask the children if they can help the shorties. And if the guys do not give the right answer, then it is appropriate for an adult to propose: "Let's make separate houses for them!" Now, I just have empty boxes of juice, maybe they'll come in handy for us? "

Feeders for birds

Very much it is pleasant to children to help someone in life, to do good deeds. Why not direct their irrepressible energy in the right direction and not offer to do really useful things? With great pleasure, kids will make troughs for birds from the same cartons of milk or juice.

Of course, you need to beat the beginning of the design class. For example, it will be interesting to have an appearance on a poultry occupation (a dressed artist or a toy) with a huge letter in its beak. After reading the message, the children will learn that with the onset of cold weather, birds find it extremely difficult to find food under the snow.

The educator should in this place invite the children to recall the material of the study of the surrounding world. Such pertinent questions are relevant:

  1. Which birds fly to warm countries with the onset of cold weather?
  2. Who among the birds remains to spend the winter here?
  3. When the bullfrogs fly away and why?
  4. Why do we need to feed birds in winter?
  5. What should be offered as a feather for food?

Design by design

Well, if children like to fantasize, they offer their own ideas. Then you can suggest inventing your own crafts. It can be a complex work on the project of a new modern children's town for shorties. Let this design be called "Kindergarten".

The middle group will happily take part in making tiny furniture for their pets. To create it, you can use boxes of different sizes or even plastic or cardboard disposable cups.

Designing from vegetables and improvised materials

This kind of creativity opens the way for fantasy. How many interesting things can you make even from ordinary potatoes! Here, poke into the raw potatoes of matches, make grapes from the grapes, and from the currant spout - and please, in front of you a funny hedgehog. And if in front a couple of matches to fix a circle of cheese or a slice of the same potatoes, make ears and eyes - that's already a piglet, awkward and dirty. And even better to replace matches with broken pasta-spaghetti - do not let the guys touch matches that they can take without demand, while adults will not be around.

Children with pleasure master in manual work with vegetables characters from the fairy tale Gianni Rodari "Cipollino", embody the subjects of other fairy tales. Wonderful volume compositions on the fairy tale "Cinderella", where the carriage and in fact is made from a pumpkin, and horse-rats - from potatoes.

Master-class of making handbags from cardboard plates

To create an artifact, which will not be embarrassed and present as a gift, will help design. In the middle group, kids can be offered to make a wonderful handbag from cardboard disposable plates in the form of a rabbit face. To produce it you will need three plates, two pieces of cotton wool, a button for the nose, a strap or a beautiful rope, scissors and a felt pen. You can fasten the parts with glue or a stapler.

First, follow the pattern to cut the second half of the bag and decorative rabbit ears.

Then attach to the whole plate of the ears.

Now the handbag is going to be completely. Here you need to take care of the strap - it must also be securely secured.

On the front part of the craft they glue the cheeks from cotton wool, between them attach the button-nose. Eyes can be made from paper, or you can simply draw them with a felt-tip pen, just like the teeth. That's ready to be a charming gift for your beloved mother!

Pasta turns into jewelry

And how luxuriously look products from ordinary pasta! Of course, for beads and pendants, the shells should be painted in advance and thoroughly dried. But the decorated hand-made in the form of an angel can be covered with gold or silver paint directly from the can.

But most of all it gives children pleasure to design according to the plan of pasta, gluing them together. This is very similar to working with a Lego constructor, but in a ready-made set of parts you can connect only in a way that was previously planned and envisaged by the engineer. At work with macaroni of imagination of the kid nobody puts obstacles.

And out from under the children's pens are wonderful fairy houses and amazing vehicles, cheerful and kind aliens and charming clearings with strange flowers.
