With your own hands

If you need a cocktail cherry, you can choose the simplest recipe. It will only need four components: 650 grams of fresh cherry berries 300 grams of sugar, ¾ of a glass of water (or cherry juice) and a full glass of cognac.

The method of preparation includes several steps:

  1. Wash berries and gently dry with a napkin. No need to tear off the pedicels.
  2. Then you need to remove the bones. For this you can not use a conventional machine. It can spoil the appearance of the berry. It is better to use a hairpin or a safety pin.
  3. Prepare the prepared fruit in a clean glass jar.
  4. From sugar and water, boil the syrup and pour them berries.
  5. Then pour the cognac into the jar.
  6. It remains only to clog the food stuffed with food and put it in the refrigerator.

In 15 days the real cocktail cherry will be ready. The recipe is designed to be prepared in advance. In the refrigerator, it will not even spoil a month, and will wait for the right moment.

Feast of fragrances

There are many more options for how to make a cocktail cherry. There is a way that allows you to speed up the process a little and, in addition, slightly change the taste of the finished product. In this case, you need: for 600 grams of cherries a pinch of salt, one orange, a glass of sugar, one and a half glasses of water, an anise star, half a glass of pomegranate and lemon juice.

The work is done in the following order:

  1. Wash the berries and remove the bones from them.
  2. With an orange cut the zest.
  3. All ingredients (except cherries) are combined in a saucepan, put it on a fire and slowly bring to a boil.
  4. Make the flame a little less and continue heating until the sugar completely dissolves. Do not forget to stir it.
  5. Pour cherries into a saucepan and continue to heat the mixture for another 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the mass from the plate, cool it, then pour it into dry prepared cans and refrigerate for three days.

This option does not contain alcohol, so you can give berries even to children.

Quickly and without hassle

It is even easier to make yourself an accessory such as a cocktail cherry. The recipe of preparation in this case does not require special labor. And the products require only the following: for 0.5 kilograms of cherries, one bottle of liquor "Maraschin".

The method is simple and concise:

  1. The berries should first be washed and freed from stones, and then put them into prepared cans.
  2. Pour the products with liqueur. If desired, you can add a pre-prepared sugar syrup. You can immediately take a ready cherry in syrup.
  3. Tare tightly closed and sent to the refrigerator.

In this form, products can be stored for a very long time. The taste of berries will not disappear, but will become even brighter. After all, "Maraschin" is a sweet alcoholic product made from a special maraschino cherry. In his bouquet, there is a taste of bones, which gives the beverage a slight aroma of almonds. Berries cooked in such a filling, not only decorate any drink, but also make its taste more spectacular and pronounced. And in desserts they will be an independent full-fledged component.
