The plot is based on the myth of the young man Icarus, who wanted to fly. He made his wings and took off. But he approached too close to the sun. It burned its wings. The young man fell into the sea and drowned. In the show Cirque du Soleil, the story of the ancient legend has changed. Icarus fell into a fairy forest. He remained alive and again tried to soar into the sky. The fairy-tale heroes who live in this forest help him realize his dream.
