Capelin in the oven - a few simple dishes

Refrigerators in the markets and in supermarkets are literally filled up with frozen fish of various types. And the plainest of them is the usual capelin. But, as the saying goes, "the spool is small, yes dear." And this fully applies to this small fish. It is useful and at the same time tasty all - caviar, meat and even bones, which contain the necessary calcium for the human body. Catch capelin in the northern seas, fish in which is much more useful than in all others. After all, she lives in natural conditions and eats the most natural food.

Many people love to fry this fish, but capelin, baked in the oven, is a real delicacy. And in order to prepare such a dish, you need quite a few ingredients. Three normal portions will be needed:

  • Freshly frozen capelin - 700 grams;
  • Half a lemon;
  • Flour - 2 tbsp. Spoons;
  • Seasonings for fish and salt - to taste.

Since there are no scales on capelin, then it is not necessary to clean it. It must be thawed, rinsed under running cold water and dried. The viscera are removed together with the head. Then the capelin must be seasoned with salt and sprinkled with a dressing. This completes the preliminary preparation. Now we need to prepare a pan. Its bottom should be covered with foil and sprinkled with flour. Then, capelin is laid out on the baking tray with "slender rows" and also covered with foil on top. The capelin in the oven is baked at 180 degrees for ten minutes. Then the top foil should be removed and again for a couple of minutes put in the oven to form a crust. All, the dish can be served on the table, sprinkled it with lemon juice.

Also good is the capelin in the oven with the potatoes. Such hearty and delicious casserole will decorate the festive and weekday table. And for its preparation it will take no more than 40 minutes and such ingredients:

  • A capelin of capelin - 8 pieces;
  • Potatoes boiled - 6 pieces;
  • Sour cream and grated cheese - 2 tbsp. Spoons;
  • Margarine - 50 grams;
  • Flour - a tablespoon;
  • Salt - to taste.

A frozen fish should be cut and bones separated. Then it is breaded in flour, which is mixed with pepper and salt, and fried until a ruddy crust appears. Then you need to take a pan or even a frying pan and grease it with margarine. The first layer is laid with capelin, then potatoes, cut into mugs. All this is smeared with sour cream and sprinkled with grated cheese. Potatoes and capelin in the oven are baked until the whole dish is covered with a ruddy, appetizing crust.

Also, capelin in the oven can be prepared not only independently, but also as a filling for the pie. This will require fresh fish, yeast dough, onion, black pepper and salt. The cape should be divided: remove the tail, head and fins. You can cut on fillets or leave a ridge. Onions are cut into half rings. Next on the baking sheet lay a dough out of the dough. We put on it a september capelin, and on a fish - a bow. All this pepper and salt. Then we make another circle from the dough and close the stuffing. The edges of the pie must be snapped, and in its center make a hole. Now for 40 minutes you have to leave the pie in a warm place and let it "come up".

Then we send the cake to the oven and bake until ready. The time for this procedure depends on the power of the oven and takes no more than an hour. The finished pie should be taken out of the oven and oiled. And if you cover it with a towel and let it settle for 15 minutes, then the cake will remain soft for a longer time and will not stale.

The capelin in the oven is also prepared as a separate dish. Five portions of this dish need these ingredients:

  • Capelin - 500 grams;
  • Sour cream - half a cup;
  • Butter - two spoons;
  • Grated cheese - polstakana;
  • Greens, salt, pepper.

Fish should be completely disassembled, as well as salt and pepper and fry a little in oil. Then the stewpan is taken, smeared with oil, and capelin is laid in it. Still it should be poured with sour cream, sprinkled with grated cheese and put into the oven. This dish is baked until a characteristic golden color is obtained. After cooking, the fish can be decorated with greens.
