Children's studio

Nadezhda Babkina

Babkin's Theater on the Olympic Avenue was formed from the ensemble "Russian Song" in 1993. Nadezhda Georgievna, his permanent leader, was also its creator.

N. Babkina was born in the Astrakhan region in 1950. She is a hereditary Cossack and has been singing since she was a child. Nadezhda Georgievna was very fond of performing before the public. As a student of the 10th grade, she won the All-Russian Youth Contest. N. Babkina graduated from the Astrakhan Music College, and then the Moscow Gnesin Institute, the department of choral conducting. In 1985 she studied at the Higher Theater Courses in GITIS in the specialty "Director of Mass Performances". N. Babkina was awarded a large number of titles and awards. Today she is not only the head of the theater of the song, she continues to perform, touring, takes part in television projects, is a State Duma deputy and is engaged in charity.
