Theater Noginsk: history, repertoire, troupe

Noginsk Theater of Drama and Comedy was created in the early 20th century. In his repertoire, performances for both the adult audience and children.

History of the theater

Theater Noginsk was opened in 1930. It was then that the director NM Efimov-Stepnyak united in one troupe the actors of professional and talented amateur artists. The theater continued to work even during the war of 1941-1945. From the actors, an agitbrigade was created, which went to hospitals and fronts with the aim of raising the fighting spirit of the fighters with the help of art.

In the 50s of the 20th century, Noginsky Theater became a major cultural center of the Moscow region. The geography of his tours has become wider. At different times, the main directors of the theater were such people as FG Sakalis, BG Roshchin, VK Danilov, IM Tumanov and many others.

The 60's were very hard. The artists began to leave the theater. In the troupe there are only 15 actors left. But the theater Noginsky stood. In the 70s, the troupe grew again. Graduates from the Shchepkinsky and Vakhtangov schools came to the theater, as well as GITIS and the Moscow Art Theater School.

In the 1980s, the Noginsk drama was awarded an honorary letter of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, became the winner of the Komsomol Prize. The theater several times took part in festivals and became a laureate.

In 2005, at the 60th jubilee, the troupe gave the audience a performance called "Saveliev". The production is dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland. It tells of three generations belonging to the same family. Representatives of the older generation passed through the Great Patriotic War, the latter through Afghanistan, and the younger through Chechnya. The performance was a huge success and was awarded a prize.

Glory to the theater is brought not only by beautiful productions, but also, mainly, by its actors. Among them are two folk artists and ten are honored. Also, one should not underestimate the contribution that those who create scenery and costumes make.

The post of director is occupied today by Yuri Pedenko.

In July 2012 the Noginsk drama was renamed. Now it is the Moscow Regional Theater of Drama and Comedy.

The production tells about the fascist camp, located near the Alps. The action takes place during the Great Patriotic War. Prisoner Ivan Tereshka managed to escape from the concentration camp. But the Germans and the dogs pursued him. In the forest he met a black-eyed young Italian Julia. She was an extra ballast for the fugitive, but, nevertheless, he did not abandon the girl in the forest alone. Then they went together and helped each other. They managed to escape very far. Julia told Ivan that she was from a wealthy family, but ran away from her parents for the sake of a loved one who was a communist. She believed that the Soviet Union is a fabulous country where everyone is happy. Ivan tried to convince her of this, but she did not want to hear anything. Finally, the fugitives reached the strawberry meadow where they could eat berries. Between Ivan and Julia, love broke out. But they managed to spend only 24 hours on this strawberry glade. They were overtaken by the fascists. Ivan managed to throw Julia into the abyss, into a snowdrift. Thus, she saved her life. The partisans rescued her. The very same Ivan was bitten by German dogs.
