As in "Skype" show your screen: a demonstration for one and several monitors

The widely known program "Skype" is used by many owners of personal computers, tablets and smartphones. The application allows you to contact the subscriber at any time of the day. The range of the program is unlimited. Two users can be on different continents. The main thing is to have a good Internet connection.

"Skype" is used both for personal purposes: communication with friends and family, data transfer, video calls to relatives, and for work needs: holding meetings in several offices at once, showing a slide show and the like. Since the beta version of "Skype" has changed markedly. Added many useful features: group chat and call, sending files and, of course, the ability to display the screen. The first way to display the screen

Unfortunately, only a small fraction of users know how to show their screen in Skype. There are several ways to do this.

The first step in solving the problem, as in Skype, is to display your screen, - activation of the application and authorization in it. After "Skype" was launched, it is necessary to select from the contact list the user to whom the call will be made.

Further by his login, you need to click the right mouse button. A whole list of functions will appear before the user: from a simple call to removal from the contact list. The last function in the first group is "Demonstration of the screen".

After the click, a window opens, in which you need to click on the "Call" button and wait for the connection. An important point in the matter of how to show your screen in Skype is a call. Demonstration is impossible if you do not contact another user.

As soon as a connection is established, a window will appear where you can confirm or cancel the "Demonstration screen".

The second way to display the screen

Many people face the problem when they do not know how to show the screen via Skype, during live communication. For example, the call lasts for several minutes, and you need to quickly show your desktop, document or anything else.

To start the demonstration during the negotiations, it is necessary to access the main window of the program: the black background on which the avatar or the video image of the interlocutor is located. At the bottom of the window, where the icons such as "Video call", "Microphone", "End call" and "Network" are located, the user will see a big blue "Plus".

To enable "Demonstration screen" you need to click on it and select the appropriate function from the list. Complete this type of connection is simple: just click on "Stop the show."

During the important events for the career, everything should be at the highest level. The same applies to demonstrating a slide show at meetings and conferences. So, in "Skype" the opportunity of demonstration presentation by means of several monitors is presented. In such cases, the presentation directly on the main screen will be broadcast, and on the additional screen - a laptop or tablet - the next slide and notes for the speaker.

The demonstration on several screens is activated in several steps:

• Open the presentation in the editor.
• Select slide show "From the very beginning".
• In "Skype" click on the sign "Presentation", and then "Desktop".
• In the window that appears, select an additional monitor.

After that, you can start the presentation.

The main differences between the display of the screen and the program

In "Skype", in addition to the screen demonstration function, one more useful addition is added - "Demonstration of the program". The function is almost identical to showing the entire screen. But there is one significant difference. During the program display, other users do not see the entire screen of the interlocutor: desktop icons, installed programs, and so on. All personal information is closed. Only the program window is displayed.

If Skype does not show a demonstration of the screen or program, the user should make sure that the speed of the Internet connection meets the minimum requirements, and Skype is updated to the latest version. Also do not forget that you can show the screen only during a call to the interlocutor.
