Active substances of "Enap", in addition to enapril, include hydrochlorothiazide, belonging to the group of thiazide diuretics. The mechanism of combined action of the drug is explained by the decrease in the volume of sodium and liquid in the vessels, which leads to a decrease in cardiac output and blood pressure.

Enap has a positive effect on the kidney circulation, while the drug does not help increase the withdrawal of potassium from the body, which is important in hypertension. This quality of the drug prevents the development of renal insufficiency in patients.

Patients with cardiovascular diseases improve their health with Enap. Instructions for use recommend the drug because of a reduction in the mortality rate observed in patients with congestive heart failure. The effectiveness of the drug does not decrease, depending on the level of renin in the blood plasma, the age of the patient, and his sex.
