Annex to the contract

When concluding an agreement on the sale of products, the provision of various services or the performance of certain work in practice, situations arise where additional details of the transaction, which have a sufficiently large amount of information, are inconvenient to place in the main text of the document. In such cases, an annex to the contract is drawn up. It can be a task of a technical nature, specification, schedules, deadlines for the performance of work and supplies of materials, the cost of the products supplied, the procedure for making calculations, etc. This annex to the contract is drawn up on several or one sheet, depending on the amount of information contained in it, and becomes part of an agreement having the same legal effect.

The introductory part of the document should contain its name. Next to the word "Application" there should be a number, in the case of completing several additions to the agreement. One of the mandatory conditions is the indication of the contract itself. Therefore, the introductory part should contain the date of its compilation and the registration number.

The title of the main section should be based on the content of the document. The title should briefly reflect the essence of clarifications, which are one of the most important parts of the agreement and specify the provisions contained in the treaty itself. In addition to the transaction, schedules describing the performance of work, as well as the order of their execution, can be drawn up. The annex to the contract may contain a record of comments, etc.

The final part of the document should reflect the details of each of the parties to the agreement. Here are indicated:

  • full name;
  • type of ownership;
  • Actual and legal addresses;
  • Settlement accounts and names of banks that serve the counterparty.

All these data are necessary elements, which indicate the accessory belongs to the main agreement. The appendix to the contract is fixed by signatures of persons who have the right to conclude a transaction. Their positions are also indicated here, as well as their full name. Seals of participants in the transaction are printed. The application is signed simultaneously with the contract itself. If the extended information to the transaction is indicated somewhat later, it is drawn up in the form of an additional agreement.

The treaty and its annexes have the status of a single document from a legal point of view. In practice, there are cases when the agreement contains references to additional information attached to it. In this case, the application is an integral part of the transaction.

An appendix to the supply contract is drawn up in the case of the duration of the agreement period. The content of such a document is specified when the parties sign additional information. A long-term supply transaction during the period of its execution may undergo a number of changes to the original agreement. The quantity and value of goods decreases or increases, the order of their delivery to the buyer, and also the assortment list can change. Specific provisions for the sale of products are specified in the specifications. If there are various contradictions in the applications, then it is necessary to use information having a later term of signing.

The contract of hiring workers can also have different applications. They are compiled in the case when certain information due to a large volume is not reflected in the main document. What will be reflected in the agreement in addition, the organization decides independently. So, the job description of an employee can be formalized as an attachment to an employment contract. In the form of additional information, the hiring agreement may contain:

  • Conditions for the use of the personal property of the employee in the interests of the organization;
  • Obligations that impose a ban on disclosure of information, etc.
