American tractors "John Deere" are working in the fields of the whole world

American industrial power has many symbolic incarnations. Trademarks from the USA are known all over the world: Coca-Cola, Philip Morris, Ford, Boeing and many others, embodying the possibilities of the most powerful economy in the world. One of the symbols of the production power of America was the John Deere tractors with the emblem in the form of a deer jumping in a jump.

And it all began simply. In Illinois, then, like almost the whole country, mostly agricultural, there lived a smith. He worked hard and talked with farmers. Their fate was not easy: hard work from morning till night on the field, imperfect tools, which had often to be repaired. So passed the days, weeks, months, during which farmers followed the plow, harnessed by horses. The blacksmith's name was John.

And then one day he came up with the idea that agricultural tools can be improved. In 1837, Mr. Deere created a new plow, the material for which was polished steel. The main differences in the further development of this tool of the tiller were its sectional assembly, which makes it possible to change the width of the treated strip, and the presence of a seat that greatly facilitated the work.

It went, but the former smith from Illinois saw the prospect and in improving the traction for his plows. Man by nature independent, he sought to ensure that his production had a closed cycle. Since 1888, plows are equipped with driving machines. The first John Deere tractors were steam-powered.

In the midst of the Great Depression, when all American producers, both industrial and agricultural, were experiencing a recession, a new product was being introduced to the market. John Deere tractors with a two-cylinder engine of their own production of the 1923 model became a hit of sales not only because of their high performance, but also because marketing activities were flawless and the terms of sale did not scare away farmers even in conditions of low sales of agricultural products.

An important factor of success was the willingness to penetrate new, growing markets. For the MTS of the nascent Soviet collective farms, mass purchases of machinery were made. Tractors "John Deere" came in handy, they combined high quality, trouble-free supply of spare parts and affordable price.

Following the traditions of the founder, John Deere Corporation pursues a bold economic policy, whose goal is to promote products on all continents. In the 1960s, engines and tractors were opened in France, Germany, Japan, and Argentina. Once in Russia there are conditions for the development of private entrepreneurship, Domodedovo and Orenburg become the addresses of the new assembly plants of this leading producer of agricultural machinery.

Production in the meantime is being improved. The John Deere-8430 tractor, manufactured since 2005, has a high degree of automation of various units, including gearboxes and fuel delivery systems. This car is increasingly seen on Russian fields, where it has found wide application due to the high power of the nine-liter engine "John Deere - PowerTech Plus" and a reliable running gear. Many agricultural enterprises of the CIS countries choose a John Deere tractor. Its technical characteristics are impressive: 255-295 hp, load capacity 11.752 tons, the possibility of installing various attachments.
