Model Ford Crown Victoria is a six-seat American sedan with a rear-wheel drive. The first copy of this car came off the assembly line in 1979, and the process of its gradual replacement by a more modern Ford 500 was launched in 2005. The novelty was equipped with the same power plant, but it had more modest dimensions, but it was not possible to achieve the success of its predecessor. Due to low sales, in 2008 the company switched to Ford Taurus. The car was widely used by the police of Canada and the USA, for which the modification was named Ford Crown Victoria Police. The last model of "Victoria" was produced in September 2011, after which the plant in Tolbettville itself was closed, which specialized in its assembly. Despite this, now the car is widely used by American taxi companies, and also enjoys high demand in the Arabian Peninsula, like many other full-size American sedans.
In the domestic market, a class of similar cars with a large trunk and salon received the nickname "crocodiles". Ford Crown is really gigantic. For the first time in his salon a person can get the impression that he found himself in a small apartment. The car is characterized by very good overclocking dynamics, despite its size. The motor operates in conjunction with a box-machine, the switching of speeds in which occurs smoothly and quietly. Despite a lot of positive moments, Ford Crown Victoria needs constant service in the service centers. The fact is that some consumables need to be changed very often. Moreover, Americans used inch fasteners, and therefore quite rare bolts and nuts without special tools to establish a very problematic. Well, the most important problem of the car is, of course, corrosion. In addition to all of the above, the car has many other nuances and flaws.
