Amazing flowers of a clerk. Decorating the garden

Cleoma is a half-shrub up to a meter in height from South America with pink-purple, lilac or white flowers. However, not everyone likes the smell of such a variety of plants, like the flowers of a clerome. But they conquer the beauty of their flowers, which blossom abundantly, beginning in June and through September inclusive, and, like honey-combs, attract a lot of bees. Inflorescences fairly large and against the background of greenery and garden crops have a winning appearance. An interesting form of fragrant flowers with long stamens resembles multicolored spiders.

It's a pretty spectacular, fast-growing annual plant that attracts the eye, even if it's planted somewhere in the background of the flower garden. Of course, the flowers of the clerome look better in the group and look royally as a loner among the undersized "brethren." The plant is prickly, but similar to a beautiful rose it seems just a trifle compared to the beauty of its flowers. Original and attractive compositions from them in vases or large flowerpots can be a good decoration for patios and terraces. Cut flowers Cleoma look good in the composition and can stand in the water almost up to 2 weeks.

It should be noted that the flowers of the Cleoma are thermophilic and drought-resistant. Usually in March the seeds of this beautiful flower are sown on seedlings, evenly spreading on the surface of wet compost and slightly sprinkling with vermiculite. Then, to maintain moisture, cover with a transparent film or glass. In case of insufficient light, an additional source is organized. Sprouts appear on the 4th-6th day with temperature indices ranging from 26-30 degrees. Immediately after their appearance, the film is removed and the temperature is lowered to a range of 22-25 degrees. After 2-3 weeks, shoots are transferred to pots and before they are planted in the ground, they are tempered. Already directly into the ground is transferred after the freezing of frost.

For such plants as the flowers of the Cleoma, regular watering is necessary, only you need to ensure that you do not excessively moisten the soil. They are fed them with complex fertilizers 2 times a month. Prefers to be a glamor for its growth of sunny places and fertile soil. The plant is stable and is rarely susceptible to diseases and pests, there are no special concerns about this.

There are about 70 species of this half-shrub and because of the original shape of its inflorescences, resembling salutes, fountains, fireworks from splashes, one of the popular sort-mixtures of the plant is called - the clum "Sparkling Champagne", which sounds very nice.

Another very popular variety for gardeners is a rather powerful plant with inflorescences, differing in color and called as a clume "Colorful fountain". Due to the riot of colors and the unusual shape of the flower, it fully corresponds to this, undoubtedly, beautiful name.

The shape of the flower in the Cleoma is really unusual - four-petalled (petals are rounded), having 2-3 centimeters in diameter with a protruding stamen, up to 8 centimeters long, and on a long pedicel. Collected flowers Cleoma in the brush and bloom from the bottom up, as it gradually pulls the brush itself. After the glaum efflorescence, on the long peduncles seminal boxes of an elongated shape are formed. At the same time, they do not completely spoil the look of the clerome, but look very mysterious.

To date, the plant glamor decorates yards, front gardens, terraces and household plots. The variety of the Cleoma "Colored Fountain", as a rule, occupies a place in the very center of flower beds and flower beds, being one of the main components of landscape design. And next to the commonwealth with other annuals, and perennial colors reigns and shines the clumsy "Spray of Champagne", giving the feeling of the holiday with its enchanting beauty.
