If you cook the bailys with your own hands, you can add mint, coffee and other ingredients to it. No preservatives in the drink should be. Creams never get spoiled by their perfect mixing with alcohol, so the bailys have a long shelf life - eighteen months. Of course, like any other liqueur, it has a somewhat sugary bitter-sweet taste.

A bit of history

Preparation of bailys was first carried out in 1974. This laid the foundation for the creation of a new line of alcoholic beverages - cream liqueurs. A year later, he entered the market and immediately won huge popularity with the consumer and continues to occupy a leading position to this day.

The share of bailis accounts for eighty percent of the world market of cream liqueurs; by sales, it ranks twelfth among all alcoholic beverages in the last ten years, consumers annually purchase fifty million bottles. Whiskey, which is used for cooking bailys, is produced by the method of triple distillation, so it gives the creamy liqueur a special softness.

The production of bailys began at the Nangon House plant in Dublin by R & A Bailey & Co. How exactly this original alcohol is prepared, no one knows, because its recipe is kept in the strictest secrecy. It is known only that it is produced on the most modern equipment from natural ingredients, passes strict quality control.

The recipe for a home bailis

It is not difficult to prepare a bailys at home and does not take much time. To get eight hundred grams of homemade alcoholic beverage, you will need the following ingredients: one can of condensed milk, two tablespoons of instant coffee (preferably boiled from coffee beans), four hundred grams of milk with two tablespoons of cocoa, vanilla to taste and one hundred and eighty grams of vodka.

Next we prepare the bailis with our own hands. To do this, blend all the ingredients in the blender, then cool them. It is better to serve a drink the next day, so that he has time to brew.

How to drink?

Baileys is suitable for any event. This drink is universal, so it is consumed both in pure form with the addition of ice cubes, and in a multitude of cocktails. On top of it, sprinkle with grated chocolate or cocoa.

Give this alcohol to meat with berry or cream sauce, vegetable and fruit salads, desserts. The liqueur is well combined with the taste of banana and strawberries with cream. So, you can make a salad of these fruits or simply make "banana boats". To do this, you need to peel bananas, cut them in half along, use a spoon to remove the pulp, forming "boats", which are then filled with a filling of a mixture of cream cheese, banana pulp and powdered sugar.

Liqueurs are also often served with ice cream dessert. It is prepared as follows: shortbread cookies must be broken, chopped nuts, cut into berries and mixed with ice cream. The taste of a creamy liqueur also goes well with tiramisu, marshmallow. But it is not recommended to serve alcohol and carbonated drinks and juices.

How to serve?

You can serve at home in the pure form in a liqueur glass with a volume of twenty-five milligrams. You can also add liqueur to coffee instead of cream. In this case, sugar is not put, because alcohol has a sweetish taste. In the case of combining creamy liqueur with something it is served in a glass for wine.
