Patsayev Victor Ivanovich: career and biography

Patsayev Viktor Ivanovich, whose biography is described in this article, Hero of the USSR, Soviet pilot-cosmonaut. This is the first astronomer who left the earth's orbit. His death was tragic - during the landing of the Soyuz-11, due to depressurization.

Childhood

He was offered an alternative option - the Industrial Penza Institute.

He agreed to enroll and graduated from the university in 1955. He received a specialty in mechanics of precision instruments. In 1968 he graduated from the courses of pilots in the Kolomenskoye flying club. At the same time he studied in graduate school. From 1967 to 1969 he was trained for the cosmonaut under the H1-L3 program.

Job

After the institute, Victor I.Patsaev got a job as a designer in the aerological observatory. He created instruments for meteorological missiles. Space

This led to their death. When the ship was opened, resuscitators immediately began work. But it was not possible to save the cosmonauts.

A family

Patsayev Viktor Ivanovich married Kryazheva Vera Alexandrovna. His wife worked in TsNIIMash. At Пацаевых two children were born. The first was born in 1957, Dmitry.
