A cake with apples in three variations

Apple a day keeps a doctor away ("One apple a day will drive a doctor away") - surely you've heard this ancient saying, known throughout the world. Of course, this fruit is not only useful, but also very tasty. Juicy, crispy, sweet and sour apples love almost everything. And in our country it is also one of the most accessible sources of vitamins. But just because there are apples every day can be boring. In this case, various recipes come with them. Now autumn is the perfect season for homemade apple baking. The most popular of all known recipes, probably charlotte. But today we propose to prepare something else, namely - a cake with apples, as well as nuts and other additives.

Do not worry if you've never cooked buns before. Our recipe with detailed descriptions and photos will help you to cope with this task on "hurray." From the resulting amount of the test, you can make as many as three pies with a variation of the fillings.

We prepare the basis for pies

Many beginners confectioners scare the word "opara", it makes you even abandon your favorite recipe. In fact, everything is not terrible, the main thing here is to follow an understandable scheme and, no matter how strange it may sound, love and feel the dough. Many housewives say that it is necessary to cook a bun in a good mood. So we are charging positive and forward!

Preparatory stage: opara

We will need:

  • A package of milk (900 ml - 1 liter);
  • Fresh yeast (50 grams);
  • Sugar (large spoon);
  • Salt (teaspoon without a slide);
  • Flour (we add, being guided by a consistence of the test).

Fresh yeast should be torn into small pieces. Milk slightly warm (it should not be very hot) and dilute yeast in it. Add sugar and salt, mix thoroughly. Now gradually add flour and follow the consistency of the dough. It is necessary that the resulting mass resemble thick sour cream. Achieve the required condition, cover with a film and leave in a warm place. Opara should come. The waiting time is about half an hour. You will see how the mass in the bowl rises, increasing at least twice!

Next step: baking

For its preparation we need:

  • Sugar (300 grams);
  • Eggs (4 pieces);
  • Butter (packet);
  • Vegetable oil (large spoon).

Beat eggs with sugar until smooth. Butter the butter and leave to cool. After a lapse of half an hour we take the spit and add the egg-sugar mixture, gradually pour in butter, not forgetting to stir the dough thoroughly. We add a little more (about half a glass) of flour and vegetable oil. All, now the main thing - to monitor the condition of the test and mix it well, adding flour as needed. How to understand how much to pour? It's very simple - the dough should be easy to get out of the hand, rolling into a ball. But do not be too tight, steep and heavy. A gentle soft dough is a guarantee that your sweet pie with apples will be tender and airy.

The dough is ready, you can leave it for a few more minutes, and in the meantime, take care of the filling.

Closed cake with apples

The recipe with the photo above is the basis of our further work. From the resulting test, you can now make several different types of baking. Let's start with a closed pie. The filling we will make from apples with dried fruits. Take 5 medium apples, half a cup of sliced dried apricots and the same amount of dark raisins. Dried fruits in advance it is better to soak in hot water of minutes on 5-7.

Collecting a cake is very simple. We take a container for baking (you can fry the pan with high sides) and lubricate it with butter, preferably creamy. We separate about a third of our test. We divide it into two parts. Roll out both in the form of a circle (or another shape, depending on the shape for baking). Lay out the bottom, properly leveled and leaving the sides. Then spread out the filling - diced apples mixed with dried fruits. On top, sprinkle them with 1-2 tablespoons of sugar or watered with honey. Take the second part of the rolled dough and close the cake. The edges need to be carefully tipped.

The oven should be preheated to 200 degrees, bake the cake at this temperature for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 170-180 degrees. Willingness to check the pie with a stick. On average, this will take 40 minutes. A sweet pie with apples can be served still warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Believe me, this dessert turns out to be the most delicious!

Banana-apple pie

We still have 2/3 of the cooked dough. Half of this part will go to the next dessert. For this recipe, you will need three large apples, two small bananas and berry jam (cherry, currant, bilberries). Fruit cut into thin slices.

The form for baking is lubricated with oil and lightly sprinkled with flour. The dough is well-dispersed, it is soft and supple, so that it can be straightened directly in the form. From above, we grease the dough with jam, spread out the banana slices and decorate the cake with apples. In the oven, heated to 180 degrees, we prepare 35-40 minutes. A ready-made dessert can be sprinkled with nuts.

Cake with apples and berries

The last third of our excellent test remains. We offer to let her on a delicious sweet cake with apples, berries and granola. The bottom of the form is lined in the same way as in the first recipe. A glass of your favorite berries is thawed (or used fresh), apples (3-4 pieces) cut into small cubes, mix everything together with the addition of sugar to taste.

We prepare the crumb for sprinkling so: 5-6 spoons of oatmeal are mixed with two spoons of honey and chopped nuts. Mix well and sprinkle with the resulting mixture of pie. It is prepared in the oven as well as the other two, about forty minutes. The peculiarity of this dessert is that on top it will have a crispy crust in the form of granola.
