Who is entitled to compensation for the kindergarten and what is its essence?

It's no secret that the best preparation of a child for school is a visit to a kindergarten or, as it's right, a pre-school educational institution (DOW), where knowledgeable specialists with a pedagogical education work. The deplorable situation in terms of the placement of the child in the pre-school, which now exists in our state, shows that not all parents can expect to receive their child by preschool education because of the insufficient number of places in working kindergartens of federal and municipal subordination. In this situation, private DOW are of little help. However, not all parents can afford to pay such institutions, so there is compensation for the kindergarten by the state.

The legislative bodies of the Russian Federation have amended this part of the Federal Law "On Education" to improve the current situation. Now parents of children attending private preschools will be compensated for the kindergarten. In addition, the project envisages the construction of new premises for the placement of preschool institutions in them, as well as the return to state children's educational institutions of those premises that previously belonged to them, and are now used not for their intended purpose.

Now, families belonging to the middle social strata of the population can afford to give children a good pre-school education in private DOW. Parents can be sure that compensation for a private kindergarten will be guaranteed by the state. This type of assistance will especially provide tremendous support to those parents whose children are identified in specialized non-state gardens and need special care and attention.

It should be borne in mind that compensation for payment for a kindergarten applies only to those private DPUs that give children a general education program for school. Payment for institutions specializing in thematic education (for example, only music, sports, drawing, etc.) will not be compensated, because it does not fall into the category of compulsory general education program. To find out which kindergarten you are registering for your child and whether compensation for it from the state is payable, you can get a license and a certificate of state accreditation issued to this DOW, copies of which must be posted on information stands.

The amended law "On Education" provides that compensation for a private kindergarten will be equal to compensation for visiting the state garden and will be 20%, 50% and 70% respectively for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and subsequent children. Calculation of the compensated amount will be made by local authorities, based on the average regional fee.

Innovations in the law will not only increase the number of places in kindergartens and help parents, but also provide good conditions for the development of private small and medium-sized businesses aimed at expanding the niche of educational institutions and creating additional jobs. But the main reason for making amendments to the law "On Education" is the reduction of queues in kindergartens. In addition, it will give parents the opportunity to choose that institution that will meet their needs.

Compensation for a kindergarten will be paid only if the application is properly issued, with the obligatory provision of the applicant's passport, receipts for payment for visiting the preschool institution, a child's birth certificate and data for transferring the compensation (bank details, savings or current account number , etc.).
