What should be the haircut of a cat?
Do you need a cat haircut? This procedure has become very popular among animal owners. Haircut, however, like washing cats, at first glance seems difficult.
The whole procedure begins with clipping of claws. The haircut itself should be carried out by several specialists in order to limit the movement of the pet. Anesthesia for carrying out such a procedure is highly undesirable, since it can have a bad effect on the health of the animal. With the hair clipper, hair is removed from the back, sides and abdomen. Especially carefully and accurately it is done in the field of axillary depressions, because it is there that the formation of coats occurs most often. Then proceed to the tail. It should be noted that the wool in this case is removed no more than 2/3 of the entire length (or remains completely untouched).
After the end of the haircut, the ear shells are cleaned. It should be noted that in no case can hair be removed. It is better to clean your ears before bathing, since most of the specialized tools are oil-based.
The final stage of such a procedure, as a cat's haircut, is washing. Despite the fact that there is an opinion that there is no need for this for domestic cats. Bathing is especially important, as it helps to remove unnecessary hair and grow new. In addition, during washing, the body of the animal cleanses from contamination, which significantly improves the skin condition and is the prevention of various diseases.
This procedure is best done in a limited area, since if the animal breaks out, catching it, for example, in the bathroom will not be difficult.
For the same reason, you need to prepare a towel in advance, as well as several basins of water. One of them is intended for washing directly, the other two are for rinsing.
The final stage of bathing is drying the cat. This is especially important for animals with long hair. If you do not dry it with a hair dryer, there will certainly appear coots, combing which will be impossible.
Thus, hygienic procedures (cutting a cat, washing it) - an integral element of competent care for a pet. They must be carried out regularly.
