What is KIM GIA?

The education system of the Russian Federation has undergone significant transformations in recent decades, one of them was the introduction of the examinations in a new format - GIA and EGE - into the final certification of students. What is CMM, and also about other intricacies of the exam read in this article.

The system of attestation of the 90s of the XX century

So, a modern schoolchild who completes the basic general education course should show skills and skills at the end of the training, which will characterize the level of his knowledge. The state final attestation in the school is quite different from similar tests in the 1990s. Then it was enough to write an essay on the Russian language and perform a task on algebra as a compulsory examination and choose, at your discretion, two or three general subjects.

Examination commission, made up of the teachers of the school, took the answers of the subjects and handed them a verdict based on the listened or seen answers. Practically the procedure of final exams for the course of the basic secondary school was not different - there also were compulsory subjects (Russian and mathematics) and subjects to choose from. On the basis of the cumulative result, the students received a document about the end of the school and could try their hand at higher levels of education, where the entrance examinations were required for the training . What is KIM at that time? Everything is quite simple - these are tickets to which you had to prepare.

The reform process

In this system, perfectly fine-tuned, there was one flaw: students from remote settlements often for various reasons could not afford to enter the full-time tests of the country's leading universities. Then it was decided to change the format of the exams themselves - instead of final and introductory tests, an intermediate version appears, combining both the first and second without the need to go directly to the home of the university. Thus, the idea of greater access to quality education was realized. So there was the Unified State Exam, the way of attestation was changed. Since 2002, as an experiment, it started in some regions of Russia. All tasks of the exam were divided into three groups according to the degree of complexity: part "A" - test tasks, part "B" - comparison and logic, part "C" - detailed answers. That's what the CSE CSE at the moment. Until 2008, this method of testing graduates of general education institutions was tested on the territory of our country, and since 2009 has become mandatory for the final test of students' knowledge. For graduates of the ninth grade tasks are built on the same pattern, but their number is reduced - that's what KIMs GIA for incomplete secondary education.

Two-level exam

Testing and measuring materials (this is what KIM) were made taking into account all the necessary competences of the student, and as a result, there were about thirty tasks, their number varies depending on the subject. Specially for their creation specialists from different sectors from all over the country are attracted, as a result, selection takes place, and all possible variants get their further existence in examinations.

The composition and editing of tasks is handled by the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements. Thus, the tests should reveal the willingness and ability of the student to study at the university. The system is constantly being improved. Along with the USE, similar tests were gradually introduced for the course of the 9th class (what is the GIA of the GIA for this level, we considered earlier), it is also a test examination in the form of tests and detailed assignments. Differences between the two levels of the exam consist in the degree of complexity and the number of final tasks.

Now let's take a closer look at the actual fullness of the assignments for all sections of the exam. As already mentioned above, all questions in the KIMs are divided into three groups. This is done specifically so that the auditors can objectively assess the students' opportunities. The test part is the simplest and does not require much mental expenditure, however, it is rated the lowest points. To successfully pass the final tests, the solution of this part is indispensable, the maximum possible score for this part in different disciplines does not exceed 25. The second group of tasks is much more complicated and allows to reveal the basic and specific skills and knowledge of the student. It is assessed variably, but overall the total number of points for this part is higher. Finally, the most difficult questions are encountered in the final part of the exam. Successful surrender of this type of tasks, coupled with the previous groups of questions, allows you to get 100 points and testifies to the high educational level of the person who solved KIMs. What is it, now it is clear, in fact, is a combined task.

The hardest thing in the exam

More details on the tasks of the group "C". If the first two parts reveal the level of formation of abilities of the increased educational potential, if parts "A" and "B" can be called variable tests, then the final tasks are full-fledged comprehensive assessment tools. At the same time, this type of questions is also used for the certification of specialists when applying for a job or when passing the refresher courses. This is not accidental, the competence allows a person to effectively understand the formulation of the problem and the ways to solve it, the entire educational process is directed at this. Combining different types of assignments, it is possible to reveal most deeply the degree of intellectual development of both the graduate and the specialist. Now it is clear what is KOS and KIM in a modern educational environment?

GIA technology

Now let's analyze the procedure for passing both exam levels, first of all the GIA. A student who completes the 9th grade of the school, at the end of the training, must pass two compulsory exams and several at the option. To conduct tests, authorities and educational authorities form the points for passing the exam (usually a few schools to which all students of a certain municipality are affiliated), where everyone must come with a passport and a pass. After this, all students are divided into audiences and attach to each two test equipment, then in the presence of all interested persons, they open packages with assignments. Each of them is assigned a number, in exact accordance with the number of those taking the exam (this explains what the CMM number is), while eliminating the possibility of substitution of the option. In case of incorrect filling of the title page of the CMM, the work is considered invalid by the commission, therefore special attention is paid to the instruction before the beginning of the examination.

Tightening and innovation on graduation tests

Recently, due to frequent cases of violation of the test procedure, the conditions were somewhat tougher. One of the latest innovations was the online broadcast of the exam, and this applies to both the GIA and the USE. At the exam it is strictly forbidden to use mobile phones and other technical means, for any violation of the student can be removed without the right to further delivery of final tests. Small indulgences are allowed in relation to the ninth-graders, however, for persons completing the 11th grade, they are completely excluded. Each examination, depending on the discipline, is given a strictly defined amount of time, after which the work is surrendered, taken into account and sent for further verification. Announcement of results is performed after 10 working days from the calendar date of the GIA or EGE. There is also an appeal procedure, which may take place in case of disagreement with the final results of the student's exam.

Summarizing, we can say that the most important part of a person's life is education. Different stages of it make it possible to reveal certain inclinations and preferences in different people. They already depend on them how to develop these abilities and put themselves into service, and the final certification allows avoiding annoying mistakes in training specialists and mobilizing a person to achieve their goals. The main logic of any exam is the maximum possible analysis of knowledge in order to correct it.
