Fabrication of a hammock made of fabric

On the short side of the mattress, we fold it down to 10 cm of allowance and we spread it. Curtain eyelets attach to the fabric at a small equal distance from each other. The eyelets are attached as follows. One of their parts is superimposed on the fabric, its inner ring is surrounded by a pencil, then the fabric is cut along the contour with a small indent, the part is superimposed again, on the other hand, another part is attached to it and they join together until a characteristic click.

2. Wooden slats, the length of which should be two centimeters more than the width of the mattress, well sanded, painted or varnished. Drill along the bars at the same distance as the eyelets, we make wide enough holes (take a thick drill). A double cord will be threaded into these holes.

3. We cut the thick cord into long pieces of at least 3 meters. Fold them in half, loop through the eyelet, and then through it we extend two opposite ends of the cord. So fix all the ropes along one and the other side of the mattress. Then each double end is pulled through the corresponding hole in the bar and fixed with a double knot. All formed loose ends of the cords should be assembled together, fastened, and at the end make a large hanging loop.
